Overall Satisfaction

We use PeopleAdmin across the entire university. All colleges and departments use it. HR is the system administrator. All benefits eligible position openings are posted through the system. it allows us to control the postings from a standardization and compliance perspective; control the budget expenditures to maintain salary band integrity, control expenditures for grant funded positions as well as overall position control (vs our overall budget).
  • Well laid out tabs capture all relevant data points in one requisition
  • Approval routing features fit our needs nicely
  • Ability to have guest user access is ideal for faculty search committees
  • Mainly labeling of dashboards - more data could be added to aid in ease of reviewing data.
  • Overall process control
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • AA tracking and reporting
I have used SAP's e-recruit, ADP and Brass Ring.

PeopleAdmin is more user friendly than SAP and ADP.
PeopleAdmin is more customizable than the others.
PeopleAdmin's customer support is much better than the others by far. Their staff is very helpful and willing to adapt your system for your needs.
System is very good overall. The other factor would be how PeopleAdmin fits in with other HR systems so all of our systems are in sync with each other
The system is ideal for Higher Ed institutions. Main questions to ask would be about customization options for your organization and what reports are available.

Product Usage

100 - Over 100 people use system. Department heads and their designees from all colleges and departments use it to review resumes and process candidates. Finance Administrators from each college and department function as originators for the reqs and the offers. HR functions as system administrators: posting reqs, dispositioning candidates in the system and preparing offer paperwork. Compensation, HRIS and the research office use it from an approver standpoint.
