Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)

We use this product to monitor our bandwidth and packet traffic. It also allows us to see what devices access our other devices in our network and websites visited. I use a monitor to see traffic flow so that I can be prepared for any problems that might arise and respond in a timely manner. Being proactive is always better than being reactive.
  • The ability to solve problems with connectivity has increased since we purchased NetFlow.
  • The cost of NetFlow is minimal compared to other products.
  • We feel that we get a big bang for the bucks we spend.
Our previous product did not offer traffic flow, bandwidth information or the ability to give us device information. With SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer we can monitor traffic coming in to our network and traffic going out of our network. This has allowed for greater security for our district and end users.
The time it takes to hear back from tech support is too long. Often times the support help doesn't really answer my question which creates frustration and a loss of time. I generally end up trouble shooting the issue myself. I would like to see some improvement in this area.
The ability to watch my network flow and our devices with high bandwidth allow me to mitigate any issues that might arise. Often times I am able to resolve a problem before my departments and end users even knew there was a problem.

Using SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)

It makes my job so much easier to do. I accomplish more in less time which allows me to complete other projects.
