Here are the winners:

BlueJeans

BlueJeans is a web conferencing and video calling platform that supplies a complete webinar solution. BlueJeans’ plans provide a low cost option for users hosting 50 person meetings, but scale to support events with up to 15,000 remote viewers. Webinars conducted via BlueJeans Events can be viewed in device agnostic HD video and include user interactivity tools like polling, surveys, and  moderated chat. 

Beyond the live experience, BlueJeans provides cloud storage and sharing of events, a calendar integration, and social sharing capabilities. 

On TrustRadius, the majority of BlueJeans reviewers come from either small businesses  (35%)  or enterprises (30%). Users praise BlueJeans’ sound and video quality for all situations, the easy-to-use session sign-on experience, and its versatility for use in both small conferences and huddles as well as company wide meetings.

GoToWebinar

GoToWebinar, from LogMeIn, is a webinar and online conference tool designed to provide an easy-to-use registration and web meeting experience. It features audience engagement tools like insertable video and polls, as well as a customized experience through webinar templates and layouts and branding tools. 

The registration process can also be branded and customized. For replay or after-session review, GoToWebinar includes video hosting and a branded video library, with unlimited cloud storage for library content. All GoToWebinar subscriptions include GoToMeeting, LogMeIn’s highly reviewed web conferencing tool, and GoToStage, LogMeIn’s video sharing platform for public-facing webinars. 

GoToWebinar is used across industries and departments, with a majority of reviewers working at either small (36%) or midsize (35%) businesses. TrustRadius reviewers enjoy GoToWebinar’s stability and audio / video quality, the small learning curve associated setting up and joining webinars, and most notably its engagement features – particularly the mid-presentation feedback surveys.

ON24

ON24 is a marketing-oriented interactive webinar software that includes live audience engagement analytics and lead scoring, as well as the ability to arrange recorded videos into binge-worthy playlists and chapters. The ON24 ‘Engagement Score’ provides marketers with detailed information about audience activity and how it relates to level of interest in the video content. Video audience engagement may be viewed overall via a real-time dashboard, at the account level, or individual prospect level. 

For presentation, ON24 has a configurable page builder including customizable CTAs, and video editing tools as well. And ON24 provides simu-live capability for viewing webinars recordings. 

On TrustRadius, ON24 is reviewed primarily by marketers (69%) across many industries, with a large portion of reviewers coming from enterprises (45%). ON24 users on TrustRadius praise its effective lead generation, suitability for training and customer success, its analytics and reporting, as well as the customizable viewing experience that both presenters and attendees both enjoy.

Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect is a web conferencing software that is also designed to host interactive and dynamic webinars for marketing, sales, or educational purposes. Ready to support enterprises, Adobe Connect can support webinars of up to 1500 remote participants, and can handle high volume outreach with pre-event features like customizable event registration forms and email reminders.

GlobalMeet Webinar (formerly ReadyTalk)

GlobalMeet Webinar (formerly ReadyTalk) is a web conferencing tool that allows users to schedule and conduct webinars, and livestream events. Designed to be an easy-to-use solution for scheduling and hosting meetings, GlobalMeet Webinar also features audience engagement tools (e.g. polls and surveys), and engagement analytics with automated notifications throughout the duration of the event. Recorded broadcasts can be stored, edited, and re-shared on demand or simulated live as desired. 

On TrustRadius, a large portion of GlobalMeet Webinar reviewers (44%) come from midsize businesses, marketers also make up just over a third (37%) of their reviewers. GlobalMeet Webinar users on TrustRadius highlight the overall intuitiveness and ease-of-use of the GlobalMeet Webinar platform, citing its excellent screen sharing, clear audio, and a fast log on capabilities.

What is Webinar Software?

Webinar software allows the user to share, record, and replay learning and instructional sessions with distributed audiences. Like web conferencing software, webinar software features slideshow or screen sharing, collaboration tools and audience participation controls (e.g. chatbox, surveys), and a means of scheduling events and inviting participants. These two software categories differ in that webinar software can support large one-to-many conversations, and therefore includes moderator controls for hosting a one-to-many video session. 

Webinars may be used to collect lead information, host workshops or training sessions, or conduct company town hall meetings. This software is commonly used by sales reps and marketers for webinar hosting, customer success agents during training or onboarding, or company personnel responsible for organizing internal company meetings. Like most communications-oriented applications, webinar software is evaluated primarily for its reliability, and video and audio quality. 

Pricing can vary depending on the vendor and the expected webinar audience size. Some applications may offer an easy and relatively inexpensive browser-based solution for small ad-hoc workshops or presentations, while other more expensive webinar software may focus on supporting larger gatherings.

Top Rated Criteria

Products included in the 2019 Top Rated Webinar Software list must have been in the top tier of their category TrustMap as of June 3rd, 2019. To qualify for the Webinar Software Top Rated Award, products must have at least 10 reviews written within the past year, a TRScore of at least 7.5 out of 10, and must receive at least 1.5% of the traffic in their category.  Every reviewer is verified and every review is vetted before publication. Products are plotted on the TrustMap based on end-user data, including users’ likelihood to recommend scores as well as buyer research patterns.
