Announcing the Top Rated Business Process Management Software for 2018

Business process management brings together a systematic method of managing business processes. The overarching goal is to improve process efficiency to gain competitive advantage through reducing costs, reducing response times and increasing revenues. The goal is primarily about gaining business efficiencies by optimizing business processes across the organization. The search for improved efficiency is not new, but what distinguishes BPM is that the processes to be optimized are typically cross-functional and frequently cross company boundaries too.

Pega Platform

Pega Platform is a comprehensive, unified BPM suite, most suitable for larger enterprise customers. It includes case management, predictive features, and also has strong mobile capabilities. The company has also built a series of marketing applications that run on top of the Pega Platform. Like several other BPM platforms, the company now focuses on no-code and low-code app development capabilities. Reviewers commonly cite the responsive and intuitive user interface as well as strong integration capabilities.

It’s better suited for developing applications which are business workflow oriented and involve multiple departments and groups to collaborate to accomplish the task.

Nintex Workflow Platform

Nintex Workflow Platform is a workflow product designed to work with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Project Server. Nintex helps automate manual and paper-based processes so that they become efficient workflows. User reviews point to a well-designed user interface and connectivity to multiple 3rd-party systems.

Appian

Appian is a BPM product and a low-code software development platform enabling enterprise applications to be developed rapidly through a drag-and-drop interface. The platform enables process modeling, application of business rules, and constant optimization to take account of changing events. Reviewers like the product’s ease of use and its reporting capabilities.
