TrustMaps are two-dimensional charts that compare products and services based on end-user satisfaction ratings and research frequency by prospective buyers. You can filter the data by company size, because small businesses and enterprises can have very different needs.
Products and services must have 10 or more ratings to appear on the TrustMap, and those above the median line are considered Top Rated.
Cloud Data Integration Software Overview
What is Cloud Data Integration Software?
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) have radically simplified the deployment of consumption of business applications and development platforms, but they have also created silos of data that remain difficult to access by other systems. For example, customer data from an application like Salesforce.com may need to flow to an online accounting system for invoicing and billing, and an ERP system for purchasing. Additionally, a business intelligence system might need to extract data from all of these systems and more, to build a data warehouse for the purpose of decision-making. None of this is currently easy to accomplish without a cloud data integration tool.
Cloud data integration software or, as it is coming to be known, Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools are platforms for building and deploying integrations, both within the cloud and between the cloud and enterprise on-premise applications.
The origin of these systems was to help SMBs with little-specialized knowledge of data integration, how to support data synchronization between on-premise ERP systems and early SaaS offerings like Salesforce. Vendors that emerged in this space allowed SMBs to achieve integration at relatively low cost. Instead of requiring specialists with knowledge of SOA and enterprise service bus (ESB) integration technologies, these vendors allow systems to be integrated much more rapidly, by using a multi-tenant cloud service.
iPaaS cloud solutions are now challenging traditional on-premise middleware solutions like service bus products, due to their relative agility and ease-of use. The products typically have and intuitive console for deploying and managing integrations across the enterprise.
