It can be used to organize files in one location. If you want to control user access to documents then the inbuilt security is very helpful. It has the option to create multiple databases, so you can have one database for each department. The redact annotation can be used to hide certain parts on the documents. The signature and stamp annotation can be used to sign and stamp documents.

Hands down prefer 12d Synergy. Bentley ProjectWise is overly complex, expensive and has a very cluttered interface.

Cost was the main factor in choosing GLOBODOX. Also it was very easy to use and implement compared to other products. The sales and support were very helpful during our evaluation period.
