15Five is fantastic for a company that feels they don't know what their employees are thinking. The culture should have a sense of trust and accountability to solving a problem.It's less appropriate if the culture is already dead. If people are afraid to share their thoughts in person because of a lack of trust, 15Five isn't going to help it. It's also not a project management tool. Using 15Five to track progress is the wrong way to use it.

Crelate Talent
Crelate is wonderful if you just want basic candidate tracking. It does everything it needs to do on that front - let you track the stages the candidate is in, have their resume and contact info ready, as well as their current position. The extension that allows you to mine from LinkedIn is also very handy and I use it daily. It works very well. You can easily add candidates to open opportunities and if you are organized, Crelate can be really helpful. If you don't want to put in a lot of the legwork, Crelate may not be for you. There is a lot of manual work that you must do to make Crelate functional - all tagging, any information that doesn't come in through the resume or LinkedIn (and you have to double check because, like with anything, there are sometimes errors in the import). It's not a very streamlined platform and not intuitive. But as I said, if you need a basic ATS, it'll do the job.

- Goals/To-do lists: 15Five is a great tool for creating to do lists or establishing goals for the week. Employees can add them easily, and check them off when completed. For me, this has provided a helpful visual of what needs to be accomplished that week.
- It's easy to send information out to anyone in the organization - tagging individuals or @all is an easy way to share information within the platform. Our president is a big fan of 15Five, and she has utilized it as a way to disseminate information throughout our organization. Information can be uploaded in an easy-to-read, easy-to-access manner.
- Reminders - it's easy to set up reminders within the program, to ensure employees are completing their portion. As an employee, the reminders are helpful in encouraging completion.
- Customizable questions - direct supports/supervisors can set up different questions to be asked of employees from week to week. This is helpful if there are questions that are needed to be asked weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Being able to change questions regularly is great.

- Ease of use. Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly, but I just find it a big confusing to work with and not always very intuitive.
- I really dislike the question 15Five asks about how you are feeling each week. It would just be weird to tell my clients that I'm not feeling excited about their work.
- More data visualisation would be good.
- More customisation with objectives and with way it is set up would be great.
- Questions are repetitive.

- Aesthetics - Although it works, I think there's definitely room in the future to explore how they could improve optics.
- Search - There's many different ways in which you can search through all of the contacts on Crelate, but it's not too intuitive (especially for new users).
- Integration - I'd love to see Crelate integrate with other tools I use (e.g., Mixmax) as it would greatly improve productivity.

15Five has been a much better solution for our team. The feature suite is much broader and we found that Khorus at the time had a very subjective approach to measuring Objectives and Key Results. 15Five does so much more with one-on-ones, employee health, and performance evaluations. The value difference is night and day.
