It is well suited for a small enterprise which is looking at budget as its main constraint, as this is literally the best priced model at $12 a month. Then again it provides much more than the basic CRM functionality, this also is good for any medium enterprises looking to work on its productivity in all the intertwined departments of sales, marketing, order management, project management, and finance.

Oracle Engagement Cloud (formerly Oracle Sales Cloud)

If you are a smaller start up, I'm not sure you will find this as helpful. I believe Oracle Engagement Cloud is better used when it is across an entire organization. You can set up every business unit with their own login and decide what authority they will have vs. what they will not. Each department can then from that point navigate the Cloud their own unique way to gauge how effective the business is within itself.

Oracle Engagement Cloud (formerly Oracle Sales Cloud)

  • The lack of native campaigns is concerning. We marketers live and die by out campaigns (it's our view of the world), so not having a native campaign object to sync to from our marketing automation platform has caused some issues. Our integrator is helping us work through them, but the lack of a campaign object seems like a big miss to me.
  • Speed (load times) seem slower than other CRMs, but as we are still testing, this may be a temporary issue. I'd consult others to confirm or refute this.

It provides a platform to improve the productivity on each and every step and the power to coalesce several departments to work in an orderly manner.
This helps any small or medium enterprises unleash the power of automation as well as overall management of projects, services and deliverables.

Oracle Engagement Cloud (formerly Oracle Sales Cloud)

Oracle Sales Cloud was our preference for a CRM cloud system because it had great additional features that we also wanted to utilise in addition to the traditional CRM. We really liked the lead tracking and the incentive sales compensation feature. Several department heads debated which software to go with and in the end we all agreed on Oracle Sales Cloud because it addressed the needs of all the different departments that now utilise the software.

  • It is a good tool for capturing customer data helping with repeat sales.
  • It has a nice workflow for leads, opportunities, etc. allowing us to convert sales.
  • The mobile version turned off a lot of our users who then refused to use it.
