EchoSpan 360-Degree Feedback Tool

I can't imagine a scenario where it is less appropriate than any other 360 tool. It's easy to use, customizable, and inexpensive. Reports are easy to interpret. Great tool for anyone looking to implement a new 360.

iCIMS

I found iCIMS to have great functionality and capabilities for the price. It is a good value. The customer service is good. You will have to describe your problem or concern very specifically and provide screenshots/examples whenever possible. I did sometimes have to escalate beyond the initial rep, but always had my problem resolved.

  • Competency library is robust - includes pretty much any competency that you would need
  • Excellent customer service, both online (demonstrations of how to) and via phone/email
  • Completely customizable - different targets can have different competencies, rater types, rating scales, etc.

  • Templates for sending automatic emails to large populations. Saves a lot of time!

  • It took us a little while to figure out how to set up a 360 (we didn't watch the demo videos until later), but once we did, it was very easy to use.

  • Auto-populating fields could save a lot of time. So parsing resumes.

Alternatives Considered

Both EchoSpan and the other vendor supplied comparable products, so the major difference was the cost involved. EchoSpan is much more affordable and offers a very similar quality of report.

Definitely a greater tool with more capabilities. Bullhorn had a lot of duplicates and glitches in its system whereas we don't see this with iCIMS. It allows for many users at different levels to use the tool and is user friendly. We selected this because for our large organization we needed something reliable and for large groups.

  • It has allowed feedback from many employees so certain issues that needed to be dealt with became more transparent.
