6sense is well suited for organizations that are looking for a single ABM orchestration platform. Their intent data and scoring algorithm seem to be very accurate. Their advertising is very easy to use but I don't have confirmation yet as to the accuracy of the targeting.

Adobe Analytics is most suited for large organizations. The cost of this tool makes the investment significant, but large organizations that use it to its fullest potential will also reap the most benefits. Adobe Analytics really is the industry leader in analytics capabilities, and when used right is easier to dig into the details you need. Smaller companies, particularly ones that aren't trying to do complex analysis, probably wouldn't find it to be an investment that is worthwhile.

- No way to easily use UTMs for ads. If you want to use UTMs for different campaigns but the same creative, you have to upload the ads multiple times in order to be able to use different UTMs
- Getting the predictive model up and running took a bit longer than we hoped
- Should be able to allow spend to go to the top performing ads in campaigns rather than be spaced out evenly

- Finding a specific dimension within a dimension group (for example, if you're looking for "Paid Search", you cannot search for it - instead, you must know it is located under "Channel").

The platform is pretty straightforward as far as creating new segments and what's available to do so. The launch of digital advertising has greatly improved in recent months which has been great for our digital team. Adding or removing users and updating integration points is pretty easy as well. Reporting has also been recently updated which makes reporting on usage and ROI much easier too.

Sometimes the processing times are very long. I have had reports or dashboards time out multiple times during presentations. It could be improved. It is understandable since there is a huge data set that the tool is processing before showing anything, however for a company that large they should invest in optimizing processing times.

I do not ever recall a time when Adobe Analytics was unavailable to me to use in the 8 or so years I have been an end user of the product. My most-used day-to-day analytics tool Parse.ly however, generally has a multiple hours planned offline maintenance every two to four weeks, and sometimes has issues collecting realtime analytics that last anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour, and happen anywhere between 1 to 5 times a month.

Adobe Analytics's performance was quite satisfactory. Even for very large volume of data, it works pretty fast and I can get the results I want within a few seconds. When you run the data for custom dates, it tends to slow down a bit

Their Customer Success model is delivered as advertised. We're very satisfied with the availability of support. They care as much about our success as we do. We also had an issue where we believed there was an issue in a piece of functionality. They continued to dig until they found the problem and immediately put the fix into a patch.

It was a one-day training several years ago that cost the organization several thousand dollars. There were only about 10 people in the training class. Adobe tried to cram so much information into that one-day class that none of our users felt like they really learned anything helpful from the experience. Follow-up training is too expensive

The online training for Adobe SiteCatalyst consists of short product videos. These are ok, but only go so far. For a while Adobe charged a fee for this, but recently made these available for free. There are many great blog posts that help users learn how to apply the product as well.

One of the benefits and obstacles to successfully using Adobe Analytics is a great / more accurate implementation, make sure your analytics group is intimate with the details of the implementation and that the requirements are driven by the business.

I personally feel Adobe currently has the best offering, closely followed by Google Analytics.Both have pros and cons but I feel Adobe has a little bit more in terms of custom dimensions and workspace that really help it shine; however, I feel Google Analytics is better when it comes to real time reporting, something Adobe is lacking.

It is worth investing in if your company is medium or large-sized and brings a steady flow of revenue. For small companies, it can be overpriced.

Make sure you purchase training and implementation support either from Adobe or a third party or you will be left alone to figure out how to effectively use this platform yourself. Professional services are not a strong aspect of Adobe support. They will sell you the tool and leave you to your own devices UNLESS you purchase their additional consulting and/or training services. There are lower-cost training and consulting services available that are arguably more effective than engaging the team at Adobe to support
