I use 7Sheep for marketing as a sales person. This works well for me as a single user. I do not think I could use the software together with my colleagues. Although we could have separated lists the access rights might not fit our use case. It has a strong marketing focus and cannot replace a full CRM system.

Pros

  • Their support is fantastic - even helping me think through the logic of my campaigns with their concierge service and offering advice on how to save time. Their new online manual is excellent too. Very clearly written.
  • The flexibility of the 7Sheep form builder allows me not only to automate a lot of outbound marketing but I am also consolidating a lot of my communications activities in one place. This is great when handling a diverse portfolio of campaigns.
  • Being able to integrate our forms within our own website wipes out the need to create standalone landing pages: we save a lot of time and keep an integration and overview with this. Love it. (Our client feedback scores have gone up since we used 7Sheep as well.)

Cons

  • The personalized tags cannot be accessed from the menu/page you create your emails. I get around this by opening two windows, but in the future this might be an improvement.
  • I needed to create custom reports in order to get the overview on the campaigns that I needed. More generic reporting would be a useful feature.
  • I would like to be able to duplicate e-mail campaigns across different activities/databases. I could set up a mailing template for this but sometimes it would be good to be able to just re-create a particular campaign that we received a good response to for another, entirely different, activity.
  • I want them to do ALL My marketing :-).
  • I want them to update and send messages on social media and track responses.
  • I want to be able to sort Targets by email opens and clicks.

With both chat and email support I have always had enough ways to get through to them! Their support is good, honest and most importantly supportive. They helped us set up and start using the tool when we got stuck. Moving from Mailchimp where there were some semantic lessons to learn and they took the time to help us get used to 7Sheep

Ehsan has provided incredible training, making sure my team understood the application. And if at any point you have questions, or need help, they're immediately available. It's like having fractional marketing FTE's on call.

Alternatives Considered

Better integration in our workflow and in our own application.
When I first got started I used Zoho. I was frustrated because the customer service was non existent. Whenever I take on a new project that is a little out of my scope I need to have someone who can walk me thorough it. Makesbridge does that better than any other company that I have worked with

Return on Investment

  • 7Sheep has had a remarkably positive impact on my daily work and that of my clients. I am happy to report that we see in every team an increase in efficiency.
  • I am also able to more quickly respond and automate far more targeted responses so that our customer service is improving.
  • As a consultancy, high volume lead conversion is not necessarily the target, however I have sent high volume campaigns out through 7Sheep and seen great conversions and a far easier interaction.
  • We are able to make smart decisions based on real-time data. We can analyze the click path of a prospect, check the success of an email campaign, and "set it and forget it" drip campaigns. What used to take weeks to set up, execute and analyze can be done in hours.
  • Leads convert faster with sales scoring. Our sales team is able to act on "hot leads" in real time, shortening our sales cycle.
  • Cross-departmental standardization: We have set templates we use to send out different types of content. We don't have to worry that someone might send out something against brand standard. Plus, teams on both sides of the house are able to see what the others are doing, and develop a sense of empathy for the amount of work that is being done in such short time. It sounds like a soft benefit, but when you have standardization and transparency, scalabilty is a natural outcome.

Makesbridge offers a range of pricing plans and packages to comfortably accommodate any combinate of needs and budget. Pay As You Go plans are just that - companies only pay for what they use in a given month. Alternative packages - PRO, Enterprise and Engage - are for companies with consistent use patterns and willingness to pay a minimum monthly fee. In all cases there is no long term obligation; 30 days notice is all that's required to cancel a PRO, Enterprise or Engage.
