As we are primarily a B2B company, I find 7Sheep particularly suited to our needs - specifically being able to track engagement with both our digital campaigns and see the events that our buyers have attended. I don't need to have more e-mails per month than are included in our plan. I imagine that for a B2C company the volume of e-mails that need to be sent per month might exceed the limit within the plan (100,000) and this might be something to ask during the selection process.

  • All users and leads get our newsletter and updates.
  • We have installed the 7Sheep tracking code on our website to get additional information about our leads.
  • Oracle CRM lets you to manage your accounts, contacts and reports pretty easily like any other CRM but with more powerful and effective features. Searching for and retrieving information about customers in Oracle CRM is pretty fast and effective.
  • Statistical Analysis System will allow its users to access system from anywhere in the world by using an internet broadband connection.
  • Creating basic reports and displaying them in graphical charts using pivot tables is very easy using Oracle CRM's customizable dashboard.
  • It provides Microsoft Outlook as an alternate offline client for employees who are physically not present in the office due to travel on duty for sales and marketing. They can use it without an internet connection.

Cons

  • A/B testing for mailings needs to be done manually.
  • It could be easier to get the tags for personalised emails. Currently you need to copy/paste them into the email instead of using the editor menu.
  • For complete skinning you need to contact support. For embedded forms the design editor is okay.
  • The UI looks the same from several years ago and looks pretty old when compared with other CRM tools present in the market.
  • There are limitations when it comes to integration and customization like there is scope of improvement in the case insensitivity search and duplication processes.

With both chat and email support I have always had enough ways to get through to them! Their support is good, honest and most importantly supportive. They helped us set up and start using the tool when we got stuck. Moving from Mailchimp where there were some semantic lessons to learn and they took the time to help us get used to 7Sheep
