We were using another VoIP service before and we constantly have to restart meetings due to sound quality. After 2 hours of conferences, the sound would completely go out and you couldn't understand anyone.

After switching over to 8x8, that never happens. 4-5 hour calls are now bearable.

CallFire

If you need to find a test candidate for your client quickly, this is one of the best ways. Pull yourself a hot list of a couple hundred potential candidates and load them in to CallFire. Then get ready to hit about 50-60 calls per hour. You should have a great test candidate for your client in about 24 hours! It's amazing how quickly you can show your clients the true speed of your company.

Pros

  • Conferencing is less laggy
  • Sound quality is improved
  • Call bandwidth is fantastic.
  • You are able to leave a "canned" voicemail so that you do not need to speak your voicemail every time.
  • The moment an answering machine picks up, you can hit "drop voicemail" which automatically puts you on the next call and will then leave your "canned" message on the answering machine at the appropriate time.
  • Their customer support always answers the phone with a positive attitude. If you are having some issues they will help to find out for you. I'm not sure if it's because of how long we have used them, but they have followed up with us to make sure things were going well after they fix the issue.

Cons

  • Softphone freezes sometimes
  • The android app could use some updates
  • Delay in time that clients pick up.
  • Volume of customers is quite low.
  • Add more features that engage and highlight when customers answer.

Based on their poor customer service and lack of warranty replacement, I would not recommend or use 8x8.

Alternatives Considered

Ten times better and easier to use than 3cx. Interface and features are simple.
CallFire has adapted and changed internally ever since I [have] used it. It is has become, quicker, cleaner and much easier to use. I haven't used any other systems, however I thoroughly enjoy the efficiency and ease to build custom campaigns in minutes. I highly recommend CallFire and see it as a great asset for any call center.

Return on Investment

  • It has successfully exceeded our objectives of smoother, bright, and straightforward communication platform for distributed teams. Ability to support customers from within their time zone.
  • Client retention and nurturing of leads.
  • Faster lead conversion.
  • Main source of marketing.
