9 Spokes vs. iDashboards Enterprise Suite

Good for letting your investors, employees and others know at a glance how your company is doing. The interface is clean and organized well. I just wish more of the app's functionality was available for testing and implementation. "Coming soon" is not really encouraging when we already have been waiting for a year or more.

iDashboards is well suited for an office environment or organization with fewer personnel and resources. Its efficiency allows for less "man" hours. In terms of selection, the primary key question during process was cost, great tech support service, and efficiency. About where it may be less appropriate, it will be an office where information production, consumption, and dissemination is not a priority

• Grouping several apps in one place for easy viewing.
• Clean dashboard interface that looks uncluttered when viewing several apps at once.
• Setting up the apps is a breeze when the platform supports them.

• Designing a dashboard is easy. In other words, it is fairly easy to make data look really nice!
• Data Analytics. This makes it easy to do calculations on your data (averages, etc.)
• Training and examples: Our introduction to iDashboards was thorough. There are plenty of tutorials as well, plus manuals.

• Integration with apps that are listed. Some of them are not supported yet and it seems the wait is taking longer than I'd like.
• iPhone support. It would be nice to have this in the app store. Not available as of 04/25/2018.

• Ability to upload/convert Excel data to non-Windows servers such as Linux or AIX

Our executive leadership relies on the dashboards provided through the iDashboards software. Thus, there is no doubt the contract will be renewed.

iDashboards are fairly logical and easy to use once you get started. I have taught myself most of what I know on my own, by taking webinars, reading through all the knowledge base, and doing the tutorials. Expertise is needed to do some of the data manipulation, but most graphs are simple to make.

Support was helpful in the beginning but no longer needed because I didn't use the software as much. The experience that I did have with support was very friendly but not enough to give a good review. If the support team was called for initial setup, video chat or messenger app was used.

I actually chose QuickBooks (currently using) and Method (used for a month) before deciding that 9 Spokes is just good for looking at a few apps in one place. I'll keep checking back with them to see if they have improved. I wouldn't be surprised if 9 Spokes improves their product within the next 6-12 months.

iDashboards is easy to use right out of the box. The price point is very, very appealing and it offers everything the other products offer - ease of use and low cost.
