ABBYY FineReader vs. Diligent Boards

It works exceptionally well for digitizing paper and scanned documents for storage and simple retrieval mainly thanks to OCR technology, which greatly simplifies the process. If there is a need for protection and/or signing scanned documents than ABBYY FineReader has all the necessary features implemented. It may not be the best choice for individuals, where advanced functionalities are not really needed.

I find that Diligent Boards is extremely user-friendly and the functions are advanced and appropriate in our circumstances. Being able to restrict access to certain members of papers within a book is very beneficial. I also think having the Web version is an asset as I know from our Users that this is advantageous, especially when their device is updated and they have forgotten their password to be able to download the app

• Formatting in the questionnaire needs improvement. I end up with different fonts and sizes for some reason. Wish there was a way to universally change the font. It's tedious going into each question individually.

They do look to set themselves apart in their customer service, and they have succeeded. While having every board and user set up via customer service is a mild annoyance, their turnaround time is excellent. I generally deal with a single point of contact when I contact them, which is top-quality support.

Although both have functionalities that they share, in ABBYY FineReader they are better implemented, they have a better performance, in addition to being a more intuitive and simple user that makes their learning curve relatively simple, it is as if the options I need are always available. the hand and not within complicated menus or overloaded interfaces

This was a product recommended to use by a trusted network contact. We did not look at any other systems for this kind of software. Once we evaluated its capabilities, it was evident that it met our needs. We implemented based on that work without looking at alternatives in the market in this instance.
