  • As mentioned earlier, transactional heavy web assets such as eStores are particularly strong candidates.
  • IBM CXA along with other, similar tools, is not set-and-forget. The solution must be well managed in order to deliver value. Purchase of the solution is one thing; driving analytic results is another. If a company's staff are not strong analytical thinkers, CXA will not help. IBM CXA is not just a technology platform - it is a basis to design strong customer touchpoints and interactions. You need to be customer journey design literate to get the best from this.

Kofax Power PDF

I am so happy I found Kofax Power PDF. It actually came with my all-in-one printer and I absolutely loved it, [so] when I purchased my next all-in-one, I continued to use this software. I love the ease of combining documents. This is so much easier to use and I have not run into any problems. I do not ever plan to go back to the competitor's software. This has allowed us to save money on paper as well as time and has allowed the company to be more productive.

  • It captures all of a website's traffic, no need to tag pages or decide ahead of time what data you want to capture.
  • Data is captured and processed in real-time which reveal unknown issues as they are happening.
  • Replay session to see what a customer or user actually did and not just they remember doing when a problem occured.

Kofax Power PDF

  • Convert menu and its help are not easy to understand. Trial and error is the workaround.
  • Crop, a pretty simple feature, has a non-intuitive way to perform the crop action. It is not easy to figure out when a crop size applies or not to other pages.
  • Typewriter mode looks like the commentary feature or Text editing. I never used as I could not understand the benefits. Maybe a YouTube video would help.
  • Fill out electronically an existing hardcopy form. It is unclear whether the product does it.

Most tasks are intuitive, but the ones, I have cited already. To get a 10, the Help file should be rewritten. It is not thorough, confused, and sometimes inconsistent.Menus are well structured, although the Page Rotated section of the ribbon looks a bit out of place.Recent files are well located front and center.

Kofax Power PDF

Kofax Power PDF is about 1/7 the cost of these programs and offers most if not all of the same features, so why go anywhere else. we used to use Adobe but quickly realized I could buy a copy of Power PDF for everyone in the whole company for the cost of one copy of Adobe.

  • The ROI question needs to be focused on clients and not our use internally. We leverage this as a platform for designing customer journeys for our clients.
  • The ROI case is far easier to make for eCommerce operators. Customer journey failings can be easily quantified and seemingly simple issues can generate large ROI outcomes. For web assets without a trading bias, ROI can be established using notional value attribution. For example, a lead for motor insurance that is lost can be costed based on average policy value over a typical lifetime; struggle on a customer self-service portal can be quantified on the cost of handling through a call centre; etc.
