Acronis Backup Cloud
Acronis is a great solution for organizations with an IT department or consultant. It works great for IT administrators that have multiple data centers so they can have a central backup location. Acronis would not be a great fit for organizations with low bandwidth or slow internet speeds

Organizing data and information objects, according to your own logic of structure. For example, organizing all info about the cases you are working on, so each case will have a dedicated section or a page. Collaborating with colleagues who are working together on a project, so they can share a notebook, a section, or a page, and from there share meetings notes, lists of action items, links to other resources, and more.

Pros
- The Acronis backup console is easy to use.
- Acronis offers an online recovery console to access items quickly and easily.
- The ability to backup and restore Office 365 mailboxes.
- Creating backup plans and schedules is simple.
- Email alerts notifying administrators on backup failures.
- The backup deduplication and compression features is one of industries best.

- Tabs-Enabling quick look up even without using the search feature. Also, because of the sub-tabs, items can be updated quickly and neatly.
- Search-As the content grows, this is without a doubt one of the more used features and it does not disappoint.
- Multi-Format and document linking. If there is something that is customer facing, I put these things into the short version when I am giving my presentations.
- Writing - With the growth of tablets, this seems to be a no-brainer. However, I use it to overwrite illustrations. Again as with the advantage of presenting in a more natural flow, using the pen/highlighting tools to draw attention is invaluable.

Cons
- The fact Acronis is an OS client base backup, which leads to more backup failures. Although most issues can be corrected with restarting services.
- Recovering backups from the cloud(internet) is a lot slower then acessing local backups.
- The backup error reports are not detailed enough to help administrators fix issues.

- Task management (it would be nice for one note to be able to send notifications to your device)
- Integrations with other services (Ifttt, etc.)
- It would be great for the iPhone application to support drawing

The cost savings we realized from moving to this software has us hooked - it does everything we need it to do on a very high level (virtualization, for example) and is very low cost for us.

If you are only interested in using OneNote, without using other MS Office products, then I would recommend using Evernote instead. OneNote does, however, come as part of Office Home and Student, which includes the three base products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Those products are useful for students as well as most office employees, and getting the package may be worth the price.

Alternatives Considered
I believe Acronis has the easiest interface to control backups and restores. The backup solution that didn't work the best for us was Symantec Backup. The other backup solutions (Unitrends, Barracuda, and Veeam) have similar backup features as Acronis and are recommended. Uniterends backup is more advanced and can be complicated not for organizations without IT staff.

Return on Investment
- ROI has been huge. The cost is incredibly cheap, and we saved $1500/month by switching.
- With a heavy impact on profits, we're able to bundle this backup plan into our basic server management plans with no additional cost, which raises the value of our offerings significantly.

- The real ROI is being able to quickly create and manage all your notes. This can be invaluable when you need to go back in time and find specific information.
- This tool helps simplify and organize note-taking and sharing.
