robust in nature and a manageable solution available for use as a powerful
marketing tool. It is compiled of a lot of exceptional services with the best
contact and customer management tool. Support needs a lot of attention, as it
needs to be changed and they must have to be more responsive and helpful to
become the best in the market.

It’s been 2 years since IRIS CRM is supporting me by supporting my business and I have seen enormous progress in my business so far which is a really good sign and is enough for me to be satisfied with it. According to me and as I have observed it is fully loaded with many useful tools that can help in uplifting a business. Removes the manual cycle from me entering every people's hours exclusively. We really evaluated Bullhorn cover and tab it was not awful by any means.

IRIS CRM

  • IRIS CRM is a specific application and we recently switched from other software to this and we have no regrets. We can perform all the functions from the management of tasks to customers so well with it. Email marketing is another edge of using it.
  • We highly admire the quality of the people that are in its support team since they are highly responsive.
  • Its reports contain many details and are much cleaner than our previous experience. Dialer/dialer metrics is another component that is helpful along with the scheduling feature.

  • Social Integration: The tool has a basic feed for LinkedIn information to feed into the system. The infusion of more Social Selling "signals" and "feeds" would be very helpful to instill more social selling into the framework.
  • Account vs. Contact: If you are a company which works to B to B rather than B to C there is a still a bit of cumbersome way to handle "joining" accounts and contacts through links. It is better with 16.1 release but still it's a "contact" centric solution which is great for some business relationships like realtors, insurance, & financial services etc.

  • Some minor design issues in the record communication interface. For example, replying to an existing email thread within the record set does not capture the entire communication or signatures.
  • Workflow customization is not easy for all users and can require some coding skills on the back end.
  • Linking forms from external websites is one feature that isn't very intuitive. Some leads are better inputted manually.

ACT follows the basic rules you would expect for this type of software, but actually doing anything sophisticated with it is near impossible without assistance or training. Unless you use it regularly it is difficult to use. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have internal IT support and it will be used regularly.

It is a wonderful software with an automated messaging service. It has helped us in having a better knowledge of our customer’s needs, preferences, and habits, and by knowing all these we have improved our business. Security is my basic concern and the fact that it has a disabled human element from the business equation are the things that I don’t really like in it.

Following a few interactions with support staff over the phone where we failed to correct the issues we were calling about, we ended up going back to the consultant who we purchased the software through and continued to use her for support rather than call Swiftpage ACT! directly. Our consultant was much more helpful in finding and correcting our issues.

Alternatives Considered

Act! CRM

Although other CRM's like HubSpot offer a free solution, I found that it didn't give much and the add-ons were very expensive. Many other companies have interfaces that are clunky or hard to understand. Also I found that many just offer way too many features that we would never use that just made it more difficult to use what we needed. The customized options are just way to expensive for the simplistic offering we need. Swiftpage ACT! just provides a solution that works for us.

By using IRIS CRM we had a wonderful experience with the automated workflow process as compare to other alternatives. Now we are better able to keep a track of the performance and hence we can enhance productivity and eventually can get more profit.it has made automated messaging so convenient and simple. We believe that by understanding our customers we can make our business better and IRIS helped us in having a better knowledge of our customer’s needs, preferences, and habits, and by knowing all these we have improved our business a lot. We have found it very convenient to navigate and now we can better spread our business database.   • The cost is a bit higher than other options (~$1300/mo), which can be seen as a negative in an absolute sense.
  • The improvement in workflow management has been significant, and has saved at least 50 man-hours per week across our organization.
  • Accurate rolling sales data reporting has been critical in defining quality metrics. This benefit is more indirect, but it has allowed us to better respond to changes in customer complaint trending.
