Action1 vs. Tripwire Enterprise

If you need a solution to help you remotely manage your endpoints this is a no-brainer. I highly recommend signing up for the trial and pushing the agent out to a few endpoints to test

Tripwire Enterprise is great for hosting/data center environments and it greatly helps where console screenshots and reporting fill a lot of our client internal audit needs for security and change control.

• It allows us to track development changes for engineer accountability.
• Tripwire Enterprise also allows us to monitor changes/updates being done to our systems in our hosting centers.

• I wish the remote connection has a file transfer feature.
• I hope Action1 will implement DLP and Secure Web Gateway features in the future.

• In previous versions the management console was a little hard to navigate in some respects.
• I'm sure this has changed over time but we hope the reporting system has gotten more granular.
• I really don't have to many cons for this product, I recommend it for every company I work for!

Action1 Cloud Remote Monitoring and Management Solution may not be as feature rich as SCCM and Intune, but it does its job without having to set up and support additional infrastructure on your network. It's more user friendly than ManageEngine's Desktop Central but does most of the same tasks you would be getting from ManageEngine's cloud version of their desktop management system.

Honestly, I haven't used other products to do what Tripwire does, it's always my first recommendation.
