It is much better to prospect brands and find appropriate contacts at a parent account, and not such a strong suit for agencies.

If you are looking to segment your data by some rather clever geographical means, then this is the tool for you. It is rather bespoke, so I cannot imagine it being used in an inappropriate situation.

Pros

  • Provides email addresses - essential when doing cold email outreach.
  • Provides agencies for each brand/company.
  • Provides media spend for parent company and brand.
Bryan Silverman profile photo
  • Clever awareness that not all journeys are as the crow flies.
  • Development over time listened to wishes, in particular to let you create shapes based on UK Postcode.
  • Very simple front end, relatively light on resources.

Cons

  • Updating who works on each brand from the brand side.
  • Updating who works on each brand from the agency side.
  • Not having to log in as often.

  • I've found using shapes based on rather weighty data can take some times. Looking for ways to help you optimise in terms of speed and displaying data would be appreciated.
  • A bit more clarity on what you can and cannot do with a license. There are some functions that you get a scattering of capabilities on (assignments) which you can find that you'll need to pay more for to really unlock.

Alternatives Considered

Winmo allows more dynamic and functional searches, and puts agency and brand contacts in one place. It also allows exports based on spend and in general, is much more dynamic of a software.

I found they were all rather similar in scope. Geopoint seemed to be the best in value and general look and feel.

Return on Investment

  • Improved efficiency of prospecting.
  • Improved efficiency of finding emails and email syntax.

  • It has been a vital tool for our events team, allowing them to target and fill up their seminars.
  • Through our development, we've been able to present information to our contact centre in order to assist them in filling seminars.
