If you are building an ADA accessible website, Adobe Acrobat DC is a must-have tool! Before we started using Adobe Acrobat DC to check our PDFs we were running into a ton of issues. Now, we know that every new PDF we upload is ADA compliant, and it's easy enough that most of our users are able to create ADA accessible PDFs on their own.

Hubdoc

As an accountant, I would like to have Hubdoc set up for 100% of my clients. As mentioned before the $20 per month pricing model is great for a company with 4+ bank accounts and credit cards. Small business with only 2 bank/credit card accounts might find $20/mth too pricey.

Pros

  • Adobe Acrobat is designed to visualize, create and modify files in PDF format, it is very common to display text with an ordered visual design.
  • This tool can be presented in the main operating systems such as Linux, OS X Mac, Unix, Windows without modifying the appearance or structure of the original document and not losing the format with sending to other users

  • It has a well developed interface and is very intuitive to use.

  • We have one credit card bill that Hubdoc is not able to retrieve - not sure if the issue is on the end of the bank or Hubdoc

Overall, Adobe Acrobat DC provides an easy user interface. The program can take some time to get used to, just like most programming you use, but once the software is understood it is very easy for users to use. Compared to many programs this is very easy for people to use.

Overall, Adobe Acrobat DC performs at an acceptable rate. The software takes some time to load, but nothing that is unreasonable when launching a document. The program responds at a reasonable speed and performs well when operating tasks. It takes time for it to evaluate a document when you request to edit the document, but that is understandable considering it is identifying words and such in the document.

Get the necessary tools to speed up the installation and manage the updates. You can be sure that the PDF files of the company will be protected thanks to this tool; automating processes with documents and enjoying trusted electronic signatures for all areas of the Organization. It is the safe and simple way to sign and manage documents on any device

QBO and Bill.com do not have a mobile interface dedicated to uploading receipts from employees. The Hubdoc interface is more intuitive and has a better flow than Bill.com.

Return on Investment

  • Overall, Adobe Acrobat has a positive impact on our ROI, or we wouldn't have been using it for the past several years. The PDF software space is crowded but Adobe has the best product out there.
  • We started with Nitro, which was undoubtedly less expensive on the front end but necessitated more staff training and wasn't as robust and functional as Adobe Acrobat. Ultimately, Adobe has paid off since it's almost completely intuitive and takes care of practically every underwriting and marketing document-related task we've used it for.
  • Adding additional users is fast and easy. Adobe has an easy portal for managing our ongoing software subscription.
  • Of all the software we use, the Adobe product has needed the least amount of IT support. In fact, we haven't needed ANY IT support since we started using it. Cost- and time-saving at it's best.
