There are many pdf viewers and editors in the market but none of them can compete with Adobe Acrobat DC. This software also gives good services but many of them are not for only pdf like Acrobat. In many applications, you can view or edit but can not sign and secure documents.

Oracle is another PLM we were thinking of buying and tried it. If you want simple user experience you should do with it.

If your organization uses PDFs frequently, then Adobe Acrobat feels like must-have. I could not imagine our organization not using it. The ability to create, organize, and edit PDFs easily and intuitively are the main reasons my organization uses it. The other additional functions and features are "nice to haves", but ultimately, don't impact our day-to-day

Teamcenter is growing very well in active workspace as a web-based client, but again, when I'm coming from the manufacturing point of view or a Build of Processes point of view, the software easy plan still needs to improve in a way. Of course, I think they're improving it also in a good way, but it's still not yet matured so from today onwards I can simply ask my users from product resistant to using the plan and push it further. I think there we have to improve more.

  • Easy to understand- the program has a very intuitive layout that is great for people who doesn't use the product very much
  • Includes all features you might need. There are many features I didn't even think we would need that they have included.
  • They have a very recognizable name so my clients feel they can trust what they are being asked to open/sign since the Adobe name is next to it.

  • It is an easy-to-use tool and integrates many capabilities to manage CAD better than any other tool.
  • It is used by many companies with a great global presence and that has generated confidence for us when we decided to try it, the results have been satisfactory.
  • The user interface of this tool is not complex, it is easy to navigate and integrates a lot of functionalities that speed up our work significantly; as well as functionalities such as sectioning, displacing, moving, positioning, transforming, among others that have a lot to do with CAD management.
  • It works via the web through the browser, so it is not necessary to download any application that takes up space and more resources on the computer.

  • Quicker load times from a cold launch

I bought a perpetual license to Acrobat some time ago, but if the software ever stopped being supported in my version of windows or other solution that makes me need to buy another license I would not hesitate to do so since it saves me a lot of headaches. There are workarounds to merge files and edit pdfs with an online interface but I dont think those are a good usage of time when Acrobat exists.

Because of our current customer needs, we will most likely maintain use of Siemens PLM products for some time. Aside from the initial software cost, we pay for yearly maintenance. Maintaining our yearly maintenance licensing with Siemens, we receive access to all of the latest software releases, as well as premier technical support

My overall experience with Adobe is great because because the it has almost all of the tools in one place and it can be used it for most of my work without going anywhere else. Because the tools are available right there in the main interface, it makes it very easy to use.

As previously mentioned, due to the intense amount of features and modules present in the software, the usability of the software suffers greatly. Many of the features are not used in our context, and many of the modules are not purchased, but the options are still present on the interface leading to a lot of clutter, much of which is never used. The interfaces suffer from a lack of design and tend to feel like a conglomerate of Windows 98 elements.

One of the best features of Adobe Acrobat is its speed and stability. When dealing with massive multi-page files, having to reload a crashed program over and over again would slow down progress unnecessarily. And expanding on that, having the table of contents generated allows me to skip to different pages with ease, a necessary feature with exceptionally long files. word searches are even more helpful with text recognition.

There really is no comparison. Although we use other PDF programs, we mainly utilize Adobe. Not only because we find it to be a better program but also because everyone is more familiar with it. However, the other products are implemented for various reasons, such as a feature or 2 that we find necessary to use at times.

Teamcenter is a more robust and faster application, with better search capability and easier customization. There is a reason you find companies using CATIA as their CAD software with Teamcenter as their PLM application! I don't know anyone who can name a company using NX with Enovia as their PLM!

I find that many users aren't aware of many features of the software they use, nor may they be comfortable with learning multiple-step processes. For the simplest of PDF purposes (scanning, downloading, exporting), it gets a thumbs-up. For anything involving electronic signatures, meh--causes eyes to glaze over, or forgetting what all is involved.

Very intuitive and great GUI, easy to learn and use. Fast Implementation and multi-user usage that saves time. Completes all the tedious documentation and CAD. Increase the productivity of the team and allow time to brainstorm ideas. Workflow management allows correct process flows. The dashboard gives great insights into my flows and flows I'm part of and their status.
