Adobe Campaign works very well for those who want to work with automated email marketing. Workflows for trigger emails work well, and so does creating content libraries that are connected campaigns where you want automated personalized content

I really liked it in my role since I was conducting cold calls on a daily basis. It gave me an opportunity to easily track, print reports and have pop-ups for follow up. If you're in a cold calling role or want to be able to quickly track the efforts of your team, Salesfusion is a great tool!

Pros

  • Campaign Management: Awesome capability in automating and segmenting campaigns. However, automating and segmenting are minor compared to the marketing intelligence provide via tracking and integration with SiteCatalyst. Knowing our demography and behavior has influenced innovation to tailor our content to the needs of the target audience.
  • Overall this system has improved Mercola from a batch and blast shop to being able to personalize marketing to a demographic or individual level.
  • Simplicity of the UI for a technical tool. If you are doing email marketing, this is a must-have tool.

I would say that generally the knowledge of the support team we work with is good, great even.I can't say that they seem to be very interested or involved in trying to make the product work best for us.They do what needs to be done, and they do it well - but not really going the extra mile.

The support team has always been helpful, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. They follow-up on all my tickets promptly and when needed are available for screen sharing to illustrate solutions for more complex problems. The support department at Salesfusion is one of my favorite things about the platform.

Alternatives Considered

We used to use Experian, or CheetahMail as it's referred to. Overall with the cost of deployment and training there is not really a way of going back. Given the chance, we probably would have saved ourselves the cost and would have stuck with an SAAS agreement with either Experian or an equivalent.That is not to say that Adobe's Neolane is a bad product, in fact it's a fairly good product. However it needs a lot of polishing to become the all round pack it should be.

  • Open rate of emails have had a big jump from averaging 12% across all offered subscription to 30-45%.
  • Deliverability increase with sender score reflecting 95+ from what use to be high 70-88.
  • New intelligence allowing us to increase conversion in the shop.

  • We lost a lot of time building the email campaigns
  • We had to pay extra money to build the landing pages
  • The distribution list tool is very limited. We had to use our CRM to build the more specific distributions lists.
