Smaller less technically staffed companies should avoid it. For mid-size companies with a serious need for a email solution, it might be worth considering if the staff involved in using the product isn't afraid of technically looking stuff. The staff that runs the servers (if it's on-premises deployment) needs to be fairly technical, and willing to dig into issues and errors that will arise.

Sprinklr

When Sprinklr works well, I love it and swear by it. I do like it much better than other tools I've used such as Percolate. The issue, however, is if you have a customer support issue, you are screwed for an elongated time.The tool would work very well if you have one person on your team designated to management who could keep pushing support and who could assist in building customizations.

Pros

  • Useful interface – Adobe campaign presents everything Adobe style, which is easy-to-use, easy to understand the information that's presented toward you.
  • The information is there when you need it – the program shows you exactly what you're looking for, and everything is at 100% accuracy. It was the driving force in helping us decide where to move next.
  • The program is always updated, and the customer service is always helpful; we never ran into any problems working with their team whenever we had a question.

  • Great customizable tagging features, filters, custom dashboards, etc.
  • A great one & done solution.
  • Very detailed data available, that is much easier to pull than native reports and often allows for further details unavailable natively (if set up properly. This is time-consuming.

  • User interface is not very intuitive.
  • Error messages can be tough to interpret thus making troubleshooting difficult at times.
  • WYSIWYG editor could be more robust (make it more similar to Dreamweaver)

  • I would like to see more affordable Sprinklr online training available, especially for utilizing new features. I am planning to invest in a 4 day certification workshop in London this summer, but I estimate it will cost me $5k+.
  • There is the very rare, but occasional "bug". This is most likely due frequent updates. I find that "refreshing" my screen often solves any issue.

Overall, I really enjoyed Sprinklr. It is a multi-faceted platform although I used it primarily for review management. It's easy-to-use and learn, has great customer service and is a great design. My only complaint would be that if there was a blip in pulling in reviews, we'd have to go back through each review site manually and make sure nothing was unresponded to. This could be cumbersome and time-consuming. Other than that, I really enjoyed using it

I would say that generally the knowledge of the support team we work with is good, great even.I can't say that they seem to be very interested or involved in trying to make the product work best for us.They do what needs to be done, and they do it well - but not really going the extra mile.

Alternatives Considered

Look, Adobe Campaign is the best program to use for your online media marketing. Adobe understands what online marketers and social media strategists need, and deliver the proper tools necessary for them to be successful. I swear by Adobe, they've earned my trust and I will continue to use their programs throughout my career. Everything else is just...noise. Until I find a program with better customer service than Adobe, I will always be a fanboy.

I have not found another product that is as vigorous to a brand's communication with consumers. It is imperative that brands meet customers where 'they' are, and communicate with them like people, not data. I will continue to use and recommend Sprinklr for it's holistic approach to entire consumer journey

This both creates a sense that we are listening and also allows us to provide value to our customers specific to their care-abouts. Increased retention translates to saved new customer acquisition costs.
  • Increased Customer Advocacy: By identifying and engaging with influencers, our organization is able to amplify our message and turn customers into passionate advocates. Some of these may be heavily engaged customers with a smaller reach that we leverage or a top influencer that we discover and build a relationship with.
