This is important for small business start ups that need to implement this with their HR. The compliance with the ACA is necessary to reduce risk and fines for all. I don't see where there would be times when it is less appropriate unless there are multiple states involved and not all of the monitoring capabilities are possible.

With so many agencies submitting candidates and only a few being reviewed at a time the chance of a candidate making it to a review and in front of a hiring manager is low.

  • The ability to breakdown the data into segments allows us to zero in on errors or problems that we can focus on in order to correct those issues.
  • The information is presented in an easy to understand interface which is very user-friendly and very intuitive. I have used the interface in the past to change data or approvals of forms. It was something I could figure out on my own due to it being so easy to navigate.
  • ADP Compliance is very good at pulling in the data and identifying issues and presenting it in method that is easy to work off of. We have many employees and the files we sent over were uploaded and processed. The errors were quickly identified so we could focus on correcting the problem employees.

Before using ADP Health Compliance, I used Paylocity's ACA tool while working for them. I'll be honest - Paylocity leads in design and innovation. They were using complex systems far before ADP had them. When we started using the ADP Smart Compliance system, we were expected to review massive spreadsheets as the system was not available. However, ADP got with the program and was able to produce a system that is actually very advanced.

  • Positive: it made the collection of open enrollment information a lot easier with a lot less keying of information for the HR department to do. So it saved a lot of time for us.
