If you want peace of mind knowing the reliability of the product and helpfulness of those behind the scenes in troubleshooting and tech support, this is a product worth having. The system processes fast. The vast amount of reports available meets every financial need in my book. Easy to learn

PatientPop is well suited for the medical industry because they do so much of the work for us. The set up for the website was very timely. Taking less than 1 month to complete. Most of that time was of our delay in getting them the information. They are also helpful in making suggestions about what to include to improve SEO.

Cons

  • Adding and Deleting provider columns complicated.
  • Would have loved to have one point of contact at all times and have that person answer on the third ring (see, this is me really reaching--because as far as my job functions were concerned, the product was absolutely fantastic. I have no complaints).
  • Working electronic insurance error reports in the system was a nightmare.

  • The onboarding/implementation managers seem to just be the middleman between customers and the support team which means issues take longer to be solved or sometimes are just "lost in translation" altogether. We have just been contacting the support team directly to get issues solved.
  • PatientPop should look into becoming legally approved to sync with medical programs (for us it would be ChiroTouch). This would make the online scheduling easier to use and more accurate.
  • PatientPop should find a way to filter out new patients only looking for someone that takes their insurance.

Alternatives Considered

I love that ADP AdvancedMD is web-based and you can use it from anywhere you have internet access. Support is available 8am-8pm EST, so someone is always there to help if needed. I'm excited about the ICD-10 tools they are giving clients to assist with that process. They do regular software updates and listen to client feedback when deciding what updates to perform and the updates are no cost to the clients

I haven't used another product like them because I don't think there is another service that is so broad in their expertise. I have built new websites with other companies but no one else has made it so easy, fast and economical. The last website build cost the company I worked for well over $50,000 and took a year. After the build, their services cost by the project and they did not teach us about how to market.
