If you want peace of mind knowing the reliability of the product and helpfulness of those behind the scenes in troubleshooting and tech support, this is a product worth having. The system processes fast. The vast amount of reports available meets every financial need in my book. Easy to learn

PatientPop

Great for getting POTENTIAL new patients, but there is definitely room for improvement. As an out-of-network office, it has proven to be difficult to get these new patients to commit to an appointment, many will schedule and then call the day before and cancel once they find out we do not take their insurance.

  • Detailed Aging reports very easy to follow and helpful in our business.
  • Navigation around appointment scheduler is excellent.
  • Creating custom templates with AMD convenient.
  • Best part--when system is slow, I can instantly send feedback on it, and see results soon!

Cons

  • Unapplied credits could be handled better within the software. It would be very beneficial to have the option to automatically apply unapplied credits to patients accounts across the board with a click of a button.
  • Facilities need to be able to be tied directly to Provider Profiles to make reporting easier.
  • You must use Internet Explorer with ADP AdvancedMD. It would be better if you could use it with Chrome, Firefox, etc.
  • Needs the ability to use the product on a MAC.

  • Better tracking of new clients via the dashboard without using the whisper as we take PatientPop phone calls.
  • Ability to have more fields in the appointment request module be required.
  • Less expensive annual fee.

Alternatives Considered

I love that ADP AdvancedMD is web-based and you can use it from anywhere you have internet access. Support is available 8am-8pm EST, so someone is always there to help if needed. I'm excited about the ICD-10 tools they are giving clients to assist with that process. They do regular software updates and listen to client feedback when deciding what updates to perform and the updates are no cost to the clients

I haven't used another product like them because I don't think there is another service that is so broad in their expertise. I have built new websites with other companies but no one else has made it so easy, fast and economical. The last website build cost the company I worked for well over $50,000 and took a year. After the build, their services cost by the project and they did not teach us about how to market.
