I highly recommend especially to those students who all are doing the International entrepreneurial subject and I think this is really going to help them in their projects.

HubSpot Sales

I would 100% recommend Hubspot Sales to any small to mid-size company to orchestrate all sales & marketing workflows and data. The only instance where it may not be well suited are for larger enterprise companies that have more complex needs that can only be addressed by a behemoth product like Salesforce (which is not a pleasant experience but a necessary evil in some instances).

Pros

  • I liked how you can access Aeroleads on LinkedIn.
  • Very easy to use and results are accurate. User-friendly, supports bulk search, you can also import your data to be used in other tools which is really cool and helpful if you want to use your data on Aeroleads to other tools. They also have a plugin that makes finding prospects easier and adding them to your list.

  • Overall usability and UX/UI is LIGHT-YEARS easier than Salesforce as a CRM. We invested a ton of money moving from Hubspot CRM to Salesforce thinking we needed some more robust capabilities only to move back to Hubspot Sales after realizing incremental reporting improvements were vastly outweighed by the frustration and inefficiency of no longer having Hubspot. I now dread the day we ever have to move to something more robust and hope that Hubspot continues the robustness of their product so that we never have to!
  • One of the best things about Hubspot is having so many tools consolidated under one platform. It eliminates the need for a separate sales engagement platform (Outreach, Salesloft, etc), dialer, meeting booking tool (e.g. Calendly, Chili Piper) and ties into Hubspot's Marketing suite (they are stronger in this area than their Sales product currently, since it's always been their bread and butter) as well as new Client Success tools.
  • The support is pretty decent as well. Sometimes I've received email answers that weren't helpful, however, I will say that it's very easy to submit a ticket or live chat around questions.

Cons

  • I tried to approach them for a service but AeroLeads do not accept less 300 leads for their service work. As I was looking for only less amount of leads.

  • The main thing Hubspot can improve on in their Sales product is the 'depth' of how to configure things. For instance, it's much easier in Salesforce to associate things like buyers & re-sellers or more complex sales than a simple SaaS sale.
  • Many of my gripes about the product have actually been addressed in the last 6 months alone -- I'm really hoping they continue this pace of innovation.

It's totally clean, consistent, and easy to use/understand. I love everything about this tool! From Gmail to being in the platform everything looks similar, is orange and easy to find, and very clear and user friendly. It's intuitive and hey, if my sales reps are using it it must be good and simple!

Oh my goodness HubSpot Support is just amazing. I submitted a question/issue to them yesterday and by this morning I had this response:
"Hi Stephanie,I hope this finds you well and thanks so much for your patience while I was working to update the extension with my team. We were actually able to push through an update yesterday afternoon which set the default lifecycle stage to lead in the sidebar. If you take a look now, that should be in place. If it has not updated yet, I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the sales extension so an updated version and be pushed through.Again, I want to say that I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to reach out to us and help us iron this out. HubSpot really values constructive feedback with real use-case backing to help push it along. So, thank you!"

It was not only SUPER easy to implement, we had some amazing support from HubSpot. They scheduled a call to go over each individual tool with our team and provided guidance and best practices plus answered any questions are new users had. It was wonderful and really helped them get started confidently
