AeroLeads is well suited for business use on LinkedIn, more specifically any companies that are looking to generate leads for tech-based businesses. The chrome add-in is very useful for this and many tech companies tend to have a strong presence on LinkedIn. This combined with other lead generation techniques has definitely helped our company flourish in recent months.

ZoomInfo is well suited to provide any additional necessary company and people information that a sales team would need in order to be successful. It should not be treated as an end all be all when assigning leads or moving prospects through the pipeline. Some additional due diligence should be expected to make sure things are correct

  • AeroLeads is a good tool for generating leads or prospects with very good accuracy. AeroLeads is a good CRM tool for generating leads or prospects. It is a multipurpose tool- unlike other tools which can only find emails or just can add leads to the CRM databases, AeroLeads has a floating button whenever you open a LinkedIn profile, you can just click the AeroLeads icon and add the leads to your AeroLeads dashboard.

  • Provides background information on organizations. This helped me to get a quick understanding of potential accounts prior to reaching out.
  • Provides an easy solution for getting information on new leads into Salesforce. This saved me time from creating new leads.

  • The plug-in can sometimes cause a lag in LinkedIn. It would be good to have a more obvious toggle to turn off the plug-in when I don't wish to use it.

ZoomInfo

  • Often I run into people who are no longer with that company. There is no way to flag for errors or make changes.
  • Often there are people who are not in ZoomInfo.
  • ZoomInfo can't import data from its website on the lower version of Salesforce.
  • The Salesforce version of ZoomInfo is more difficult to use. I find I often have to import one person at a time.
  • I have huge pressure to perform better because the cost is so high for this product.

With the combined resources of crowdsorced info on both data.com as well as the immediacy of info on LinkedIn, as well as intel on Hoovers, information provided on ZoomInfo is more readily available if you have the time to invest in looking for it. However, at the pace we do business, having a "one stop shop" for information is very convenient. On efficiency alone, ZoomInfo is worth the price of subscription considering our business model.

We wish AeroLeads would work more closely with our CRM from a database management perspective. We would find that very helpful. Prospect.io seems to do a better job of linking with Pipedrive and creating the lists and marketing emails we need.

ZoomInfo

I honestly haven't used anything quite similar to ZoomInfo except for LinkedIn Sales Navigator (which seems to be the most similar thing to ZoomInfo - but it's still wildly different). I typically find relevant contacts on LinkedIn, but then to actually get their contact info, there's nothing I've ever used that is even close to ZoomInfo in terms of quality or depth of data and accuracy.

  • I have been able to call more prospects and email them faster since I was able to find their info easily.
  • A lot of times I will spend more time than necessary trying to verify where someone works because I'm not sure of the validity of the data on ZoomInfo.
  • I have been able to grow my own territory's prospect list because I can now add phone numbers and emails in an effective manner.
