Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

OnePageCRM

It's hard to be helpful here: we use OnePage in such a limited way that I'm certain some of the higher level features would really help other organizations, it's just that our activity flow isn't based here. We use our help-desk ("Freshdesk") for the majority of our customer communication, and in fact don't manually communicate from OnePage directly.

Pros

Agile CRM

  • The set-up was simple. We ran into a snag with my domain verification, but Agile support worked with me to get it resolved.
  • I love being able to create several scripts based on persona. You can easily use a rule to display the appropriate script for each contact.
  • Even team members new to CRM were able to grasp it and be efficient within a few hours - it's simple to navigate.

OnePageCRM

  • Keep tabs on deals in progress
  • The work stream is great and it's easy to use
  • Forces next steps to be scheduled. Again, it has an intuitive interface which means that the "getting things done" principals are easy to use
  • Allows dialing and emailing directly from the software

Cons

Agile CRM

  • UI can be upgraded for a better UI experience.
  • Overall customer onboarding experience can be improved with deeper process flows covering all business use cases.
  • Integration with other reporting tools such as Tableau can be improved to give better reporting experience.

OnePageCRM

  • Multiple contacts should automatically merge. Without this, there is a risk of a prospect receiving too many emails from us.
  • They do regular updates -- seems like almost daily. This requires a refresh, and it just seems too often.
  • The checkbox system is odd: On the left have of the screen, it functions as a "select" button....but on the right half of the screen, it functions as a "task complete" option. I would move to have two distinct looking items.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

The performance of AgileCRM has been acceptable to date. I'm pleased with the ability to modify leads in the system and search for them and add groups to campaigns.

AgileCRM Has been doing a spectacular job following up with any challenges that arise. It's important to understand that every business will face challenges. The expectation should not be to have a challenge-free environment, but A Provider/partner that works with you solve anything as they arise. I highly encourage anyone to look at the company behind the products

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Agile CRM

I trialed a number of other CRMs much to the disgust of my colleagues!
  • Pipedrive was great but more sales focussed and heavy on Javascript so felt slow at times
  • OnePageCRM was good but no sales automation when we tried it
  • Highrise - wanted to love it but too basic and even though we had a free license bundled with Basecamp we didn't use it.
  • Capsule was good but basic
  • Salesforce was too complicated to learn
  • Infusionsoft and Hubspot were too hard sell (Hubspot wanted a 1 year commitment)

OnePageCRM

Again, my review is based upon my desire for an easy life using a CRM. I have little doubt that OnePageCRM would be configurable for most applications, sophisticated or not. For sales, the way OnePageCRM uses the GTD (Getting Things Done) principal is key to the success I've had with it and what sets it apart from many other programs.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

Agile CRM

  • It may be me but I spent a disproportionate amount of time figuring out how to derive more ROI from Agile CRM. The functionality and facilities were there but I eventually gave up as it was taking too much time and attention.

OnePageCRM

  • We are able to follow up with our sales leads in a way that works very well for our product line. Losing a lead because they "slipped through the cracks" really doesn't happen!
  • OnePage is quite affordable. It has unquestionable value to us.
  • Training our team to use this tool takes minimal time (at least for the way we use it).
