Agile CRM

For small businesses who need one piece of software to do a lot for the money, their free plan for 10 users is awesome and upgrading is very good value. They are our go-to suggestion for clients who need a CRM and marketing automation but can't justify Hubspot from a price perspective. A CRM at the most basic can hold notes and contact details about clients, and this is all some users may need. That more advanced users can automate inbound leads and send emails on triggers is amazing at this price point.

OnePageCRM

I have a very simplistic use for CRM and I don't like ones that are complicated or too expensive for a solus user.
OnePageCRM is a GTD (Getting Things Done) system which is intuitive and easy to get started without loads of complicated configuration.

  • The work stream is great and it's easy to use
  • Forces next steps to be scheduled. Again, it has an intuitive interface which means that the "getting things done" principals are easy to use

Cons

  • On the deal board, I'd like for agile to show how many days a deal has been in that stage. That information is available in other places, but having it on the Kanban board would be great.
  • It takes quite a bit of contextual understanding to make the marketing automation work. It would be much better if more of that information were available in the interface so you didn't have to do so much off program research and decisioning prior to implementing your ideas.
  • I'd like for agile CRM to also offer a "picture" of how the existing marketing automations and campaigns interact with each other, to avoid embarrassing or duplicate emails and other actions.

  • The ability to interface with all or many VoIP services would be top of my priority list
  • Skype is not a favourite of mine, but Google hangouts is which is now included with OnePageCRM
  • The ability to create email templates would be good. I have a separate app for that, but it would be good to have it on board

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Agile CRM is much less expensive than Salesforce. It might not have all the potential of those thousands of add-ons, but for those who have basic needs – and the need to customize to some extent, it more than delivers.Agile CRM has more advanced features, particularly around marketing automation, and hub spot does. While hub spot is free for the CRM element, using the other tools that come standard and agile CRM raises your cost considerably.Outlook for business just isn't organized in a friendly enough way for you to see who you know and to keep things current.

Again, my review is based upon my desire for an easy life using a CRM. I have little doubt that OnePageCRM would be configurable for most applications, sophisticated or not. For sales, the way OnePageCRM uses the GTD (Getting Things Done) principal is key to the success I've had with it and what sets it apart from many other programs.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

Return on Investment

  • Agile CRM has been valuable for customizing our sales process, allowing our sales associates to make more phone calls, send more relevant and marketing materials and talk to customers more frequently. This is essential to any investment company looking out for their customers and customer success.
  • Agile CRM allows us to market to our existing clients and track and managing clients, ex-clients and prospects.
  • The email campaigns are going better than they did with other "email" CRM programs.

  • The thing is, GTD seems to work well for me and ensures that I don't forget to follow up which is the number one failure in sales prospecting. So, the ROI is obviously good.
