Agile CRM

Agile CRM was developed the the company's own business model. So its very well suited to a SAAS model. And many business models products or services to individual users rather many contacts within the same organization, would find the suite of functions attractive. If you develop or manage your own website, and have some level of expertise in online marketing, then you should be able to get to grips with some powerful marketing automation functions in Agile CRM. After a year or so, I concluded Agile wasn't a perfect fit for my small B2B business. I eventually moved to Active Campaign which while being more of a marketing tool than a CRM, actually turned out to be the perfect CRM for my business.

I can only speak to the logistics part of the software and its reporting and tracking functions. Based on that where I've noticed it's best suited is for:1. Running quick easy reports that are easy to understand2. Using it on your phone on the fly 3. Tracking large pieces of information on different tracking avenues

  • Real-time tracking. The biggest problem in logistics in, my opinion, is knowing if your products are arriving on time or not especially as it pertains to food, that was huge here.
  • Most of our managers travel constantly from corporate to distribution because of how centralized the company is they needed something flexible that allowed them to run reports whenever and however.
  • Ease of use - I'll be honest in that our employees are not the cream of the crop as it pertains to their education, this software made the learning process simple.

Cons

  • The learning process is more challenging and takes longer to get used to the way things are handled in Agile CRM.
  • Agile CRM needs to improve their testing and preview options for different campaign segments.
  • There are some user interface tasks that could be made more user friendly such as setting up email templates and forms templates.

  • I only have one piece of advice per our managers. One of their biggest frustrations when it comes to logistics software is that it doesn't always speak well with other systems be it with an HRIS system or an LMS. As a training manager, I consider the LMS component huge. So really what we think would be an improvement would be an open source ideology that allows your platform to integrate with others easily.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

I don't recall the names of the other companies. I tried three. My main complaint was the inability to accommodate flat rate and track sold hours.

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

  • no difference as yet as we only started using for sales

  • Time has been the biggest ROI, prior to this the managers were running paper reports that were printed out and had the HR reps assist with printing these reports when they weren't in the office. This has been eliminated.
