Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

Sparkcentral

Sparkcentral really shines in a team environment - its workflow features make it ideal for true collaboration. It is currently limited to Twitter and Facebook, so companies who provide customer support on other channels may need additional tools.

Pros

  • Tagging clients and sending out emails to groups. It beats any e-mail server by a mile.
  • Good integration with gmail so that my clients are being auto-imported whenever I send an email from my ordinary email server.
  • Great simple website integration with forms, landing pages, lead behavior capturing etc. - you really get a lot of functionality for your money.

Cons

  • The newsletter part is a bit clunky compared to dedicated services like MailChimp or Aweber. It's just not very streamlined and logical.
  • There needs to be more flexibility in importing contacts. Currently, you can only import if you have an email and a name which obviously a lot of systems don't. It makes manipulating data by importing very difficult and the 'having to have a first name' is not even consistent with the system itself.
  • The iPhone/Android app is not quite doing it for me - very hard to navigate currently.

  • The biggest con I found while using Sparkcentral, has since been resolved. Which was that it wasn't able to do retroactive bulk resolving.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Saleforce - Too expensive.SugarCRM - Versatile. Free. But Slow.Filemaker - Originally designed my own CRMWhich gave me full control of all functionality. But having an online system that is hosted in the cloud provides considerable advantages particularly when allowing access to remote users.

I selected Sparkcentral because I am a social media engagement director, so engagement is top priority for me and Sparkcentral does exactly that. It's not focused on marketing, word clouds, etc. It's focused on the incoming social media volume of your brand

This products Starts with a free Limited version. You can upgradeTo an affordable paid version with minimal features. There's also an enterprise version which is what I have. It's much more expensive, however it allows me to access the full range of features available.

  • Positive: Being able to search users for our clients who may have reported a complaint [somewhere] other than on social media. Also being able to see if they've reached out to us but deleted a comment is helpful.
