Agiloft Flexible Service Desk Suite

Agiloft is a fully GUI based system that requires very little or no coding. That allows for a very quick deployment of a new install and for adding new features. Therefore, it works great for companies that don't want to write a new system from the ground up.

We found it to be most useful when developing workflows based on several disparate applications. Our end user reporting was, frankly, disorganized and there was no apparent logic system to how the process ought to function. As we had made the move to adopt Oracle and its suite of programs as our standard, it made cross functionality/integration very easy for our IT development team as well.

Agiloft Flexible Service Desk Suite

  • Fully GUI based interface that has drastically reduced the time to add new features/workflows.
  • The product was very easy to deploy and add features like Single-Sign On and user provisioning from our internal DataWarehouse. Again, vendor support was a big help while implementing those features.
  • The workflows include a very comprehensive rule-based system that can trigger various actions like escalations, emails, changes of request state and more. All without any coding. Again, fully GUI based.

  • Very user friendly and easy to use. The drop and drop feature makes it a breeze to create different system operations.
  • Integration with other Oracle applications is a cinch and the visibility into IT is also very accessible.
  • Much faster development time, especially when writing a process from scratch.

  • Its feature set is so complete, we have yet to find it missing something that we needed.
  • I wish we could automatically transition our CRM from Salesforce into Agiloft

  • We used cross reference tables frequently at my company which is currently not supported through Oracle BPEL. Adding this functionality would be very beneficial.

For the most part, it is an easy and intuitive system to use. There are many small things that could be improved to make the system work even easier. However, overall it is very easy to use if you have a good grasp on computer programs and using them to build things. I do not have any computer science or programming background, and I am able to use this system with few problems.

Return on Investment

Agiloft Flexible Service Desk Suite

  • Employee efficiency is much higher, as they aren't spending time on tasks that don't add value.
  • From a sales perspective, we have a much better view on what is in the pipeline, and what the likely conversion % is.
  • Overall, we are much more organized due to the tool, and I think mainly it is due to the increased visibility that is possible. Tracking processes, automating reminders, etc makes our operations department run much more effectively. We are looking forward to how much more we can get out of the tool in the future.

  • Reporting time decreased in many cases by up to several hours as much of what we had been doing was manual or time consuming.
  • Reports themselves were faster based on the application processes we developed as well as the end user retrieval of said reports.
