Anaplan Predictive Insights (Mintigo)

Mintigo is unparalleled in certain aspects to its competitors. It provides an amazing level of insight and detail for improving lead flow but is also quite competitive. I think it's most suitable for companies that already believe they've done everything in their knowledge to get to the 90th percentile of what they believe is optimal lead flow. The price of Mintigo still makes it a questionable option for some earlier-stage companies.

LinkPoint Connect

LinkPoint is well suited to any situation where Outlook is used for email correspondence and calendar items and there is need to have a record of those items and/or perform connected actions (schedule tasks, follow up reminders, etc.) in Salesforce. Automating this process and removing as much duplication of work as possible is the primary goal and the primary benefit that LinkPoint provides. In addition to efficiency, automating the process also provides a pretty substantial increase in accuracy, removing ca. 50% of the chance for human error. It's pretty simple functionality in concept, but extremely valuable in execution.

  • Adding emails is a breeze.
  • Creating contacts/leads from outlook is as simple as highlight, drag and drop.
  • Additional customization to allow you to bring in associates custom objects.

Cons

Anaplan Predictive Insights (Mintigo)

  • We stopped using Mintigo recently because we found it to be too expensive. Compared to other marketing insight software, this is quite an expensive option.
  • Our integrations sometimes misbehave - It seems like it loses sync intermittently.
  • There are still a few missing integrations, I wish Mintigo more properly integrated with our CRM

LinkPoint Connect

  • The plug-in for Outlook needs to be reset every couple of months.
  • It does not tag e-mails sent from mobile devices (or we haven't figured out how to do that yet).

EverString is our current marketing optimization tool. In the past, we found it to not give us better insight on our customer base, but over time, it seems that the quality of their customer identification has improved. EverString also had more limited integrations in the past, but that has also improved.

LinkPoint Connect

Prior to our move to LinkPoint, we used the Salesforce add-in for Outlook. This required manual syncing of email and calendar items and no easy to use interface between the two programs. It was very cumbersome for me to use, to the point where I quit using it altogether some time ago. I found it far less frustrating to just switch back and forth between Outlook and Salesforce and manually perform the requisite actions, create tasks or other items, enter the required data, etc.

  • Negative - This is quite an expensive tool to have for marketing-related tasks, which is the main reason we moved away.
  • Positive - Amazing insight. When in use, Mintigo leverages their AI to give really specific, actionable insight to improving campaigning and lead generation.
  • Positive - Good integrations and easy setup. Mintigo was easy for us to setup when we were in our trial period, which was definitely a plus.
