Anaplan Predictive Insights (Mintigo)

Mintigo is unparalleled in certain aspects to its competitors. It provides an amazing level of insight and detail for improving lead flow but is also quite competitive. I think it's most suitable for companies that already believe they've done everything in their knowledge to get to the 90th percentile of what they believe is optimal lead flow. The price of Mintigo still makes it a questionable option for some earlier-stage companies.

If you have the time and resources to utilize it, then it's great. It works well for running drip campaigns to nurture new leads online. I also like that it integrates well with many other programs such as BrightTalk.

Cons

Anaplan Predictive Insights (Mintigo)

  • We stopped using Mintigo recently because we found it to be too expensive. Compared to other marketing insight software, this is quite an expensive option.
  • Our integrations sometimes misbehave - It seems like it loses sync intermittently.
  • There are still a few missing integrations, I wish Mintigo more properly integrated with our CRM

  • If you don't have an email designer on staff and you don't like to do design research on your own, it can be awfully hard to use the design studio. Templates break all the time, and I've lost many, many, many emails from breaking the html template.
  • If you want an out of the box solution, the isn't for you. It would be nice to have an easier way to get sample programs to pull in when you are pressed for time and just want it done.
  • Need a way to test how your emails will look in various email programs without leaving Marketo

EverString is our current marketing optimization tool. In the past, we found it to not give us better insight on our customer base, but over time, it seems that the quality of their customer identification has improved. EverString also had more limited integrations in the past, but that has also improved.

Engagio does many of the same fundamental account matching and account based activity tracking, but usees engagement minutes instead of scores to describe the level of interaction of a specific person and a specific account. We went with Engagio after testing both products as it helped our sales team understand where to spend their time better than Marketo ABM did, and was transparent through Salesforce

  • Negative - This is quite an expensive tool to have for marketing-related tasks, which is the main reason we moved away.
  • Positive - Amazing insight. When in use, Mintigo leverages their AI to give really specific, actionable insight to improving campaigning and lead generation.
  • Positive - Good integrations and easy setup. Mintigo was easy for us to setup when we were in our trial period, which was definitely a plus.

  • Marketo has helped us improve the organization of our events by utilizing the event programs for communications and tracking attendees.
  • Links with SugarCRM to send MQL leads straight to our sales team, increasing our lead gen ten-fold
