Tax Payments to multiple states using one check request. You also will not have to set up multiple vendors in your system.

I highly recommend you run away screaming from any suggestion that you put this garbage into your company. It will cost you millions in lost employee productivity and demoralize your best employees.

- Eliminates multiple vendor set ups
- Only have to process one check request for multiple jurisdiction payments
- they take care of the delivery of payment part

Accounting Company, 201-500 employees- It is relatively easy to upload scans or camera images of paper receipts for expenses.
- Many hotel chains, car rental companies, and airlines exchange their receipts automatically with Concur -- so it is very simple for the user to indicate which of those electronic receipts should be "attached" to which expense report.
- If you install the Uber Business profile to your phone, all your Uber expenses are also electronically imported to Concur and easy to attach without scanning.

- Tax schema can be confusing

Accounting Company, 201-500 employees- While Travel Request is a good idea and Concur mobile is fantastic, the two are not working together yet. If your company requires the use of Request, it cannot be generated when booking travel in the Concur app, therefore our employees have actually had to step backwards since we implemented Request. They can no longer book airfare from the app, only from the website as that's where a Request is generated from.
- Sales to Implementation has some major room of improvement. Unfortunately you often don't know what you truly need until you're into implementation and by then it's too late as you've already signed a contract. So be as specific as possible when asking questions, even if you think it's something minor...it may turn into something major that costs extra.

End-users can submit expenses with little or no training. This is huge. Supporting Concur would be a nightmare if this wasn't the case.
From a system configuration & customization perspective, Concur has the highest learning curve of any app I've used (NetSuite, Salesforce, Boomi, Xactly, Marketo, Zuora).

Uptime has been generally excellent, with the glaring exception of 3 weeks (yes, weeks) during 2014 in which Concur had repeated site-wide service disruptions affecting all users.

It's live (you can ask questions), it's free, it's good. What's not to like. Only reason it's not getting a "10" is breadth and depth, more would be better.

There are different implementation teams for each module of the product you purchase, so implementation is not a 'one size fits all' environment. Also, the different implementation teams have different ways of doing things, so Concur could stand some standardization and streamlining in this area.A Project Manager can make or break an implementation so don't be scared to ask for a new one if things are rocky.

I have not used other products. We use to create multiple check requests every month to process different payments in house.

Accounting Company, 201-500 employees- Increasing ROI... I mean I'm sure everyone is happy getting refunded their money when they spend company funds.
- I would say that every company should invest in Concur, specifically because it's an easy way for finance to approve or disapprove certain expenses.
- Concur doesn't have any type of influence on our business objective other than making sure we are budgeting for the company correctly. Since being purchased by a PE firm, it was helpful for our company to see where our funds were going and concur helped in doing that.
