Likelihood to Recommend A new thing we love about TAM is the opportunity section. You can create an opportunity for your producer when you get a prospect -and it really keeps track of the progress and also his book of business. This is one area that works well for my department. I love the search/filter as well. This program is SO user-friendly. It's a great tool all around no matter which department you are in.

Read full review Pros TAM saves my work by letting me attach documents directly to policies or activities so I can have it for documentation or to review at a later time. I also love the expiration report. It lets you know which accounts are coming up for renewal so you can be prepared to talk with your clients. Creating activities is another another plus. It keeps my work organized and also is a great reminder when something is coming due or needs attention. Read full review It's very flexible. The dashboard is laid out well and helps you stay on track with renewals and activities. Emails attached to an activity are easily viewed and housed within the activity on a separate tab. They resolve things quickly. You can call and talk with a real person, submit a chat question, or email them. Their training videos are good—short and sweet. We still use multiple Zywave products in our Benefits, Commercial Lines, and Marketing departments. They are a great company to work with. The implementation/onboarding for all products has been amazing! Training for products has always surpassed the training we received from other vendor partners.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I've used applied tam and EPIC. I believe EPIC is the NEW TAM? I love both products. I think Epic is a little bit more user-friendly and less clicking. TAM wanted to make an "activity" for everything-where Epic I feel like the choice is yours, which really frees up some clutter/space on my home screen. I love both products though.

Epic for CL, PL, Bonds, and Benefits—one system for your whole agency has a lot of advantages. In
Epic , you can drag and drop emails and documents to clients, policies, and activities.
Epic has an auto-save feature. Reporting in
Epic is better.
Epic cons compared to BKB: The design aesthetic of
Epic is not as nice as BKB. Navigating
Epic is clunky—everything is in multiple layers.
Epic is less flexible for custom fields.
Epic is designed for CL/PL, so it's not ideal for a Benefits user, although they are improving/investing in the benefits side. BKB is just better for a Benefits user.
