Apricot is well suited for our needs - a few specific programs we fund without a lot of changes from year to year. For education, training, work experience programs with defined start and end dates, with somewhat straightforward tracking of services and case management, it has been a cost effective solution for us and with relatively limited investment of central office staff to manage it

It's a very nice lead nurturing platform and suitable for small to mid level enterprises where leads are still managed using Excel sheets. Using Leadsquared, you can track first and last touch point of any lead. In case, you want to track multiple touch points, LeadSquared may not be that useful.

Cons

  • I've noticed that creating relationships (linking one client to another) is not as easy as it could be. Seems a bit confusing and I always have to go back to my Apricot user guide for reference.

  • Get the device or operating system level data for the users into custom fields of any lead.
  • Get the Adwords campaign level data related to keywords, Adgroup and Ads into custom field of any lead.
  • Ease of creating the automation level report under report section. Right now, these reports are available for every automation.

It is an excellent value for money solution and is fulfilling all our needs quite efficiently. They keep working on the product and each month sees an update allowing for a bug free experience and faster incorporation of newer tools. I see no reason why I would not like to renew the subscription for this fabulous product.

Alternatives Considered

I used DonorPerfect at a previous job for a short amount of time. Apricot allows more flexibility and accessibility for different functions, and allows administrators to build reports and make changes to the software when needed.
