Aprima

Aprima is particularly well suited for the primary care provider, however, Aprima has developed excellent content for most specialty care offices as well. Specifically, OB/GYN, Orthopedics and Internal Medicine and its sub-specialties such as Gastroenterology and Cardiology can be easily managed with Aprima.Perhaps Aprima's greatest strength is its organization's commitment to content development. Look for greater and greater things from Aprima!

How well is the product customizable for workflow modifications for my clinic? Does the result flow easily for the provider or are there many chunky clicks required? (i.e. one modification to a workflow between the nurse and provider requires 27 clicks.. ok this accomplished the workflow that was needed but at what cost?)Can your system produce customized reports on the fly, is the data real time or lagging?Can the system be tuned in terms of document/note templates and the Graphic User Interface forms so a particular practice/provider/speciality needs can be taken into account?

  • Immunization documentation. This often-time cumbersome process is streamlined in Aprima, utilizing defaults to reduce the time needed to fully document immunizations.
  • Efficient billing tools. Aprima is a powerful billing engine that provides scrubbing tools to ensure clean claims.
  • As a vendor, Aprima listens. They respond quickly to the voice of their clients, providing upgrades that truly enhance the usability of their product. This is the primary reason they have seen such phenomenal growth.
  • Upgrades are free. This is highly unusual among healthcare software vendors!

  • The scheduling component could be improved to be more efficient in managing double booked and overlaying appointments.

  • Form building and Utilization of Forms - they created a new version a couple years but they cannot recommend using it yet!
  • Allowing more data entry from within EHR.
  • Images - this needs to be completely revamped, but they cut their imaging support department.

Aprima is competitively priced and possesses full functionality. Clients select Aprima because of pricing, ease of use and customization, and because it is a truly integrated product.

  • As a re-seller, we appreciate Aprima's pricing. They are highly competitive and flexible to meet the client's needs.

  • As stated earlier, Intergy was in place when I started with the company, but it was a great tool to have as it so easily interfaced with all of the reporting software we used. I wasn't on the practice side so I cannot speak to the merit of the software for scheduling.
