Ascentis Recruiting is well suited for a small company, or a company that is rolling out their very first ATS. The system is less appropriate for mid to larger sized companies; for users/companies that have had a robust ATS in the past. The system is very limited and is not user-friendly/intuitive. Customization for offer letters is difficult. The company nickel and dimes users on any additional buy-up.

In a business environment where a lot of processes are already digitalized, this is the perfect step to take for the HR team. The more international minded he company is in terms of recruitment, the bigger the benefits. If you are a very local company with limited digital mindset, this is not the right tool for you.

Return on Investment

  • Negative: Users do not like the system. It is not intuitive.
  • Negative: Takes a lot of time to get candidate resumes out to hiring managers if you do not have a seat purchased for all of your hiring managers. Should be saving time for an organization but it does not.
