Asigra is very well suited for a mixed environment... physical, virtual servers; endpoint devices; mixed platforms/OS, Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX, MacX server, iphones/ipads, etc...Questions to ask- focus on security, on the encryption key and who has access, how data is protected from unauthorized access.Question: Are you sure you can always restore your data from your current backup repository? How does your backup software protect against data corruption?Question: how man people do you need to manage your current backup and recovery infrastructure and, do you need people with advanced IT skills to run this solution for your company?

Bitrix24

Bitrix24 is suitable for processing leads, transferring information to members, tracking the conversion and communicating with colleagues. Unfortunately, all these functions, although implemented in this product, but implemented little. It is very inconvenient to work with the leads of both me and the managers

Pros

  • It allows for great diversity when it comes to what you wish to back up, proven when you configure a backup-job.
  • The DS-Operator allows for easy management of multiple clients which really suits our business needs.
  • Once properly configured you hardly run into issues with linking because of the software itself.

  • The ability to write letters directly from the system with the help of a binding for working mail.
  • The presence of an application for Android. This helps to get access anywhere.

Cons

  • Before Version 13 the GUI was seen as a barrier to its success. Since Feb 15 this has been improved.
  • Endpoint Devices - This is there but has not all the functionality seen in many bespoke products for mobile / tablets etc. From my understanding Asigra have 3 more version updates in the coming 12 months that will improve on this. For me it was a small price to pay for a product that does everything else so well.

  • Slow interface. A lot of unnecessary features and settings that do not disable
  • One and the same need can be solved in various ways. This causes confusion in the sophistication of the work.
  • The presence of unnecessary tools in the work complicates navigation and the user's work in the system.
  • Additional functions require certain resources, but they are not used.

Easy to use, great scalability, feature packed... Asigra is truly an end-to-end enterprise solution, not simply a point product. Reliability and Availability

Over 6 consecutive years our Asigra Backend had 99.99% uptime and provided 7x24 data restore availability.
Software is robust in operations, provides N+1 node architecture to protect against failure of half of the nodes (majority of the nodes still up) and software based replication to protect against data loss across two geographically independent datacenter locations. Why not 10 points? Some major upgrades still require short downtime within a planned maintenance windows.

Online Training

Anything training past level 1 and level 2 is a waste of time. They do not offer training, just an exam and require you to read 2500 pages of their documentation as their training. They are selling you something which you already have. Training exams are far fetched and cover topics hidden within the documentation. A lot of their documentation does not match across itself. They don't even follow the standard versions Major.Minor.ServicePack.Hotfix. They use the MAJOR.MAJOR.MAJOR.Hotfix method, which doesn't match their documentation.They require you to take training in order to keep your engaged hybrid partnership. If you ask me personally, their training is a scam to make more money.

Quick to install, easy to create jobs, schedules and retention policies. No large cycles of setting up backup volumes or trash volumes. Retention job itself configures the BLM functionality so you don't need an expertise to handle the BLM module separately.

Alternatives Considered

CommVaultCommVault is an excellent product with a very strong feature set but it is not as cost effective to deploy for a service provider, when using in house for your own solution it is a great product but to outsource is less appealing. The pricing model used to be very complicated but I believe it is getting more simple now. VeeamVeeam is another very strong product for backup of virtual machines but it is not multi tenanted and does not offer the same level of protection as Asigra.

I've attempted various task administration/joint effort apparatuses including Asana, Basecamp, Wrike, Wunderlist, Zoho, Salesforce, and so on. I can't address the client support of Bitrix, as I haven't reached them. Up until now, the framework has been genuinely dependable. The work area Windows customer is to some degree constrained, when contrasted with the web version, yet for most workplaces, I can't envision this is a major issue. I truly haven't utilized the CRM or communication alternatives, so I can't remark on them.

Return on Investment

  • In Manged Services, you can quickly see ROI. Companies are becoming required to have offsite backups and they are understand this is not cheap. However, I think the MSP needs to have the correct infrastucture as they are now holding data. Asigra has ability to replicate data to another facility.
  • Simple offsite file restores are quick and easy.
  • Setting up customer backups are very easy. Initial seed process quite easy.

  • There is a noticeable difference in our company after executing Bitrix24 . It has expanded the efficiency of workers inside the office and within the whole organization. Right now, the communication between representatives is speedy and it explains different work inquiries. Takes less time to tackle issues. This prompts a decent virtual workplace.
