AskNicely is well suited for surveying customers about how they are feeling about your product. This can be their overall feeling or after they have taken a certain action. E.g. used a particular feature. It's not designed for getting through customer feedback, rather gauging satisfaction. You will need to follow up with other survey methods for detailed feedback.

Data reliability and security – Data entered in Tally is reliable and secure. There is no scope of tampering or altering data after being entered in the software. Regulation of data across geographical locations – Tally software can be used to manage data of an organization globally. It brings together all branches and makes common calculations for the company at large. So no matter which location an employee has access, it will be uniform throughout.

Tally

  • Tally fails to be a user friendly.
  • It does not allow [you] to open the same transaction screen from multiple computers. Therefore, it becomes time consuming unlike other software that allows you to work on more than one ledger at a time.
  • You have to be very careful with the password as well. Once you lose or forget the user password, retrieving of data is very difficult and quite time consuming.

Tally has been part of our life since the day of the inception of the business. We rely totally on Tally for our accounting system. Its sleek and simple layout is fast and easy on the eye and the ability to [open] anything using the tons of shortcuts without touching the mouse at all is a breeze to work like a pro.

Tally is a cost effective software [that] also brings transparency in business operation across the organization. I believe our necessary requirement is being satisfied through Tally. Tally [would be] perfect if we had the entire work of the client's administration. However, when a portion of the work is shared with the client, there is huge push-back from non-accountants. This make its deployment very hard due to rejection by end users.

AskNicely

We are still evaluating SurveyMonkey against AskNicely, but initial results would seem to favor the latter. For ease-of-use, flexibility, and easily accessible analytics, AskNicely wins on all counts. Both have robust outreach engines, and there are limitations and pros/cons on each application. It is at least a very competitive match up, and I would hesitate to besmirch one tool over the other. SurveyMonkey users would benefit from giving AskNicely a once-over, though.

Tally

Tally is also beautifully integrated among various areas like Accounting, Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Payroll, Costing, Job Costing, Legal Compliance, etc., but is yet [to be] on the way to a fully integrated software. Tally software safety protocols ensure that nobody gets access to the data. However, when user level control administrator’s intervention is required very frequently owing to user wise tolerance limit in Tally software.
