Vizlib
It is well suited when connecting to a single database per workbook, and when the person designing the workbook knows the data well, or if the tables and field names are self-explanatory. A good web-based alternative to Power BI or Tableau; like those tools, it loses value when trying to combine data from multiple databases, as it relies on a visual tool to connect and join data.

Plotly
[Plotly Chart Studio is] a great tool to make visualizations on a web based portal. For python developers, it can ease of some burden of writing code again and again for the same thing and also refreshing visualizations on old scripts when data changes. All in all, a simple yet effective tool for your report generation and visualization needs[.]

  • Lack of customer support
  • Sometimes fails to visualize extremely large datasets ( probably also due to computer resource constraints)

Very friendly, with online help, blog and community. The template documentation could be more complete, however.

Vizlib
It is simpler to use than all of them. Easier to connect to Google spreadsheets and Snowflake than all of them. It is free for up to five users and one workspace. Instantly beats all the competition. No download required: Beats Power BI and Tableau. No windows machine required: Beats Power BI.
