The Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) tools help keep our scrum teams moving in the right direction. It gives Sr. Executives visibility into the progress of our digital transformation efforts. It provides information to our program manager to create the necessary artifacts to justify continued funding of our initiatives. It also supports the SAFe framework, along with some others. And the Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) tools provide integration to other tools that we use in our portfolio.

Wrike
The company used Wrike before I joined the company and I had to learn its processes. Similar to Jira, Confluence, monday.com, etc... it was pretty straightforward to learn. Their product team is a bit of a struggle to work with. There are crucial features that have been recommended and their team basically says whatever post on their support gets the most upvotes, will get prioritized. Who even looks and reads support boards outside of the problem? It's a pretty poor way of prioritizing your customer feedback since they're ignoring a vast majority of feedback.

Pros
Atlassian Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)
- Effective Sprint planning : Sprint planning can be done using Planning Poker in AgileCraft by clicking Team > Manage > Other > Estimation Games very effectively for distributed teams.
- Team Capacity Allocation Report: After tasks are created at team or program level, the report from AgileCraft cab be pulled and can be verified that no team member is under or over allocated. A report can be generated by navigating to Team > Manage > Assign Tasks.
- Effective Requirement trace-ability: To maintain requirements trace-ability follow the steps below:
- Upload test cases against the story/requirement. once uploaded test cases will be visible under that story
- Execute Test cases in AgileCraft and mark them as Pass/Fail based on the actual outcome
- Based on test results, The acceptance criterion's can be marked as “Pass” or “Fail” & if marked failed corresponding defect can be logged & can be attached with the story
- So against each story we can easily see whether all test cases been executed or not & which acceptance criterion's are failed & how many defects are in open or close state.
- Daily Scrum: In AgileCraft, the option to run a daily stand-up is available from Team > Manage > Daily Standups. Selecting the sprint number opens the daily stand-up meeting window in which each team member's tasks are visible and hours can be burned against them. Conduct Scrum meetings in AgileCraft, and burn each associate hour against the tasks created during the meeting. The burn-down chart can be generated & viewed during the stand-up to check whether the team is on track.

- Wrike is very flexible and versatile. I have used many project management systems, and some have rigid requirements - such as needing a completion date. Wrike is customizable, so you can create the setup that works best for you. You can create custom workflows, request forms, folders, etc. - and the changes could be for your whole account, or just for a specific team/folder.
- Wrike allows for many ways to view projects. It has kanban boards, gantt charts, calendars, lists, tables, reports, analytics, time logs, activity streams, etc. Most other tools I have used have some of these. But, everyone has their own view that they prefer to work from. In Wrike, all the projects and tasks can be managed from almost any view. In my experience, this increased adoption and efficiency as team members were comfortable using the view.
- In Wrike, you can save filters, which makes managing projects much faster and easier.

- The initial ticket creation screen lacks some important features, such as assigning "point values" (a measure of effort needed for the ticket).
- The browser needs to be manually refreshed to see new tickets, which can make things confusing when several people in a meeting are simultaneously creating tickets.
- The interface on some smaller portions of the software are sometimes difficult to understand.

- You have to be assigned to a project to see it - so it can be hard to find something you are not working on (but that you potentially requested) if you are not assigned to it
- Mobile time tracking could be easier, but it is still accessible
- Time based tracking takes a bit of playing around to get

There is nothing that can be better than Jira but it needs to keep improving certain areas especially the attachment size area.

After implementing Wrike, it was immediately clear that the business could not return to a "before" state. Efficiency and collaboration improved tenfold, and the time spent on project management was fractioned. It enabled us to improve processes throughout the entire company, from sales and marketing, to design, to operations, and enabled the seamless integration of outside contractors which allowed us to scale easily to meet demand.

Most of the things are easily manageable except certain things that are hidden and you need to ask teammates who are aware of how they can link attachements in the comment section and so on.

Wrike was difficult to learn at first. But with videos, emails on tips and tricks, I've been able to adapt. However, it's been difficult to convince other departments to use the program as it can be a bit overwhelming at first. I don't know what the solution is, other than to keep using it. Perhaps a template as a start for newbies?

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

For the most part, Wrike works very well. Every so often, the Apple/Mac application can be slow to load. Sometimes it requires a refresh and it is working fine again. I have not figured out if it is the software or just a computer issue

Overall support from Jira team is good. It comes at an additional price but it is very efficient. There are no long wait times, you get a dedicated team to look into your issues. The support is available throughout the year and they keep a record of your issues. Overall we are very satisfied with the support they have provided us over the years, it has been very effective for the price that we pay.

Wrike's customer support is top-notch! There are so many ways to get answers from Wrike - from their blog, videos online, community forum, contacting customer support. Whatever way you choose, you'll have an answer within 24 hours, often within just a few hours. I love my customer success manager because she meets with me via Zoom every quarter to show me new product updates, tips and tricks, and talk through any issues or wishes I have with the system. She then provides me with regular status updates on product suggestions I've made. It's awesome!

We initially had online training. A trainer took us through various training sessions where we learned about all of the tools Wrike provides. This alone allowed us to learn and set up the software and roll it out to our team. Later, a customer service rep stopped in for some one on one training which was extremely helpful.

Wrike does a great job of provide a breadth of videos for learning their program. This includes a 'getting started' sett of videos along with a collection of more in depth videos to assist more experienced users. Combined with their excellent chat support learning wrike is easy and it includes easy access to best practices.

I think it's really about developing a relationship with your Wrike partners, in tandem with your key stakeholders. Once everyone is on the same page, it makes implementation easier. Also, make sure you put a LOT of thought into your Wrike Knowledgebase, clearly plan how you are going to support your users with the key information and answers they will ask

Microsoft Azure Devops won't have the major functionality of software management like Jira. The customization provided by Jira is having a cutting edge over any project management tool. Adds-on and Plugins feature in the Jira Tool make it as perfect as desired task management tool for any company. One of the best Agile based Project Management Tools.

Personally, I have worked the most with Asana (almost four years). I love Asana, and I think their platform is really beautiful and user-friendly. It has a great UX and design to it, so as a creative, I favor it over the rest of the project management software. monday.com is simple and can do the same things for project management, same with ClickUp. However, functionally Wrike has a more robust custom functionality than any other project management system I have used. Wrike can do more, but because of this, it can get confusing to learn all the great things about it, but once you have mastered the system, it really can do everything you need and would ever want.

Based on our experience, Wrike is very scalable. Our only issue is that you have to by seats (licenses) in certain increments. For example, when we started using Wrike we only needed 3 seats but we could not purchase any less than 5 so we were paying for 2 extra seats that weren't being used. We still currently have an extra seat open.

- It has positively impacted our tech teams, allowing them to better organize the tasks and items they are working on and has greatly improved their ability to communicate & review these tasks with other teams.
- I believe it negatively impacted other departments as lengthy training was required by many associates to attempt using the tool, only to find out it didn't meet our needs, therefore much time was wasted.

- Wrike has been an excellent and affordable platform for us to use for Change management and Projects.
- Being able to track budgets and timelines on our software development has helped save money by keeping us on track with our delivery goals.
- The ability to provide our Executive board with charts and timelines for deliverables has helped us to secure the additional funding we needed to complete the development of our application.
