Not exactly the same product but similar in a social media aspect-- Hootsuite is more about scheduling and organizing your contact while Audiense is more about insights. Together they work great.

We find both platforms useful, but Audiense has a more user-friendly interface.
Audiense is more of a data intelligence platform that helps you execute campaigns successfully whereas the other platforms mentioned have very little intelligence built into them.
I chose Audiense many years ago because I believed it was the first important and accessible tool for effective management of social media communities.
