Authorize.net is reliable and I feel confident that customers' information is protected. The security protocols used by Authorize.net appear to be as good, and probably better than many credit card payment processors. However, the initial setup process was very difficult. I distinctly recall getting up and running as being very cumbersome and time-consuming. I also was disappointed with how the processing and deposit of payments were not consistent. I distinctly remember regretting the decision to go with Authorize.net. However, as mentioned before, with the time and effort required to get the account set up and running, I refused to go through the process again and try a different provider.

It depends, Bill.com certainly has a strong reputation and I agree it can be a great solution in the right scenario but I think the implementation and initial setup are critical and need to be well thought out based on the setup of the organization you are a part of.

Authorize.Net
- Very smooth workflow to authorizing, capturing, voiding, and refunding charges. This can all be done via API calls, or through their online dashboard.
- Their AVS settings for validating credit cards are substantial and have been reliable in ensuring that our customers cards are being used safely and properly.
- Their uptime and response times are very good in general. The only issues we ever have communicating with their services is when our connection quality is compromised.

- The fact that bill.com automatically processes most information on the invoice is really helpful - leads to quicker processing
- The "to do list" feature ensures you see the tasks that need to be completed ASAP
- The reports section is very helpful in year end prepping for audits

Authorize.Net
- The lack of data portability is a big issue for me.
- Authorize.net uses the same $49.00 gateway setup fee to scam merchants out of money, which is no better than any of the other gateways out there.
- Their customer service is not up to the mark. You can get stuck if you need any help from their end.

- Currently, our company uses a different platform to submit expenses, we only use bill.com to receive them. So perhaps this isn't actually a place where bill.com could improve, but the expense submission process may not have been robust enough for our company.
- The bill.com platform wasn't the most beautiful or pleasing to use, but this is a minor fault.
- I'd love a way to set up recurring payments (e.g., my phone bill is reimbursed each month).

Authorize.net has been a useful system for our Chamber. We appreciate the ease of use and access to our Main Frame. Connecting Authorize.net to our system for membership, event and other payment ease has been excellent and we have experienced no problems whatsoever.

While our firm does not use Bill.com internally, we know many customers that use Bill.com and are very happy with it. Based on the feedback from current users, I would say that the product should have a strong renewal forecast. Once customers move their AP to the cloud, they would be unlikely to move it back given a choice.

Bill.com continues to raise the bar with new features and improved interface. The Fast Pay option is another innovation that reduces administrative time when you have to get an overnight check out. The new Chat Support interface, powered by Zopim, which is world-class, adds to the responsiveness of Bill.com's support team and makes getting real-time answers that much easier.

The only time Bill.com was ever "unavailable" was then the Sync to Quickbooks function failed. That happened a time or two but was usually quickly remedied. I'm not sure if that's an issue with newer online versions of Quickbooks Enterprise -- at the time we were using a remotely hosted Quickbooks instance accessed via terminal server (vs a cloud offering like Bill.com is)

I could not explain to them how I was trying to remove an old email account from my company page while granting the new email account access to the bank account that the first email account had added. The "set a bank account as inactive" button is labeled delete, but they don't seem to recognize that.I requested my Bill.com account be deleted on Wednesday so I could start all over with a fresh account; this seemed to be completed Wednesday night, but when I tried to create a new Bill.com account from the same email, it took me to my old bill.com account.

Authorize.net is a reliable and affordable payment processing service that offers more robust security than other services, such as Stripe or PayPal with their monthly fees at $25 dollars month lot of people may be turned off by these high prices but you get what you pay for - protection against fraud in risky transactions so I would recommend using Authorize.net if this matters to your business!

It's more flexible and affordable than Expensify and QB online. It allows a more novice user to understand and manage the backend of the platform. It costs less for growing companies since you don't have to sign a long contract. Its similar in flexibility of payments to PayPal but it's more professional and has more reporting and AR features

- Lets us charge cards so we can get paid on time, every time.
- It was very difficult to setup the DocuSign integration the first time, but after we got it setup, it's made the onboarding process very easy. That probably saves about 30 minutes every time we get a new client.

- Prior to bill.com, we received the mail for our clients, cut the checks for their bills, and physically mailed them. It's was tedious for us, and there was no cloud storage for these documents. Now that we have bill.com, we have saved HOURS of time on processing bills. It also allows all of our remote staff to process bills easily.
- Bill.com has made keeping up with Accounts Payable for our clients so simple. Because it automatically integrates with Quickbooks Online, we don't have to spend time applying payments against bills in the software - Bill.com takes care of all of that for us. This gives our employees time back to focus on serving our clients in other capacities.
