Autoklose is hands-down the best email marketing campaign manager I have ever seen or used. I also highly recommend it for list-building if you do not have clean and robust data for your target audience.

Apollo

Apollo is well suited in cases where automation is essential in your outreach. It sends out as many emails as you'd like daily and you literally don't have to spend any time on them. Another form of automation is the way it tracks your stats as well. We keep tallies daily of our activity and the reports do that for you, which is very helpful

  • If you're a real beginner then maybe having multiple campaigns running can be a little difficult to manage or understand the flow of the data. But their customer service has been incredible when I have questions.

Apollo

  • Their customer service is just terrible. You get an assigned account manager but 9/10 times they wouldn't know what you wanted and/or how the product works or how to fix it. Vast majority of the time it was a canned response that made you question if they read the message, or if they read it and did not understand a word.
  • The software was relatively buggy and lacked features that were promised upon signup. They seem to have some large corporate clients and if you aren't one none of your bug submissions, feature requests, or concerns will be addressed.
  • Their growing quickly so they seem to be very understaffed which I believe caused many of the issues above.
  • The data, while good, can quickly run out if you're looking for specific types of leads. If you're looking for something generic like Managers at companies between 10-5000 people, you can pull leads all day every day. However if you're looking for a specific industry, specific title, and specific location - don't count on having an endless supply of leads (or even really enough to use month after month).

We have been able to get six sales reps up to speed in just a few weeks. The adoption rate is going up daily and after getting more campaigns going all around the company, there is a buzz about what Autoklose can do and how else we can use the tool.

I received excellent support at any time I opened up a ticket. But I would add to it that the tool was very self-explanatory, so there wasn't much need for support. With Outreach, we have a closer relationship with our CSM because of the intricacy in things like SFDC task mapping.

Autoklose

The ones I have used in the past were parts or pieces of the flow. Something goes wrong it's back and worth, this has to talk to that, I don't have the patience or the time. Now I can use one tool for a greater part of the client life cycle from lead to partner.

We tested both Outreach and SalesLoft. SalesLoft felt like an incomplete product, and Outreach drastically increased their rates at our contract renewal. They spend a lot of money in hosting big conferences like Oracle, and less time developing the product.

  • We've seen a significant increase in outbound leads after using this tool (almost a 200% increase MoM).
  • Negative: This tool does take a considerable amount of time to learn how to use, and you likely won't see results if someone is only spending minimal time within the tool, so we have invested a bit in hiring people to manage this tool.
