It's a great tool for email marketing and making automation flows with those emails. Also push your communication to multiple platforms (social media, SMS, WhatsApp, etc). It's easy to learn so for us easy to teach companies the basics of marketing automation. The clean interface and not to many functions don't make the tool too overwhelming. So for us, one of the better "get your feet wet" tools.

Keap is perfect for small businesses using it as an all-in-one marketing and sales platform. The updates and features added are catered toward entrepreneurs and small businesses. The features and tools available are very easy-to-use for non-marketers once you understand where everything is.For larger companies that may have multiple people on staff working on emails, it does make it harder to manage. Drafts cannot be shared between individuals and multiple people cannot be working in the same campaign (even if they're working on completely separate pieces, such as a landing page and email broadcast). There is also very little flexibility for design in the drag and drop email builder, such as only one option for font.

Pros
Autopilot
- Very easy to use automation builder with many great options and integrations. Lets us tailor incredibly precise campaigns through use of Autopilot's own features, plus its tight integrations with data from sources like Segment.
- Easy and powerful email editing and creation built-in. No need for email template coding.
- Autopilot allows marketers to have full control and implement new web forms to capture leads quickly with its automatic form detection. No need to save custom form data to our own backend saves our development team time.

- The support is excellent! Navigating the app and figuring out how to do certain things can be like entering a rabbit hole with no idea where to go at first, but I know that the support team is always there to help me successfully do what I need and want to do. I contact support regularly.
- I very much appreciate that a business the size of mine can use one app to do so many things such as store a contact database, allow for communication and program delivery though both broadcast emails and campaigns, set up and keep track of purchases and receive payment securely, allow program delivery or email series' through the campaigns, and set up affiliate programs. I have used and regularly use all of these features.
- I like the dashboard feature and how it gives me a daily snapshot of my business.
- There was a bit of a learning curve, but creating newsletters and campaigns are fairly straightforward for me now, and they always come out looking and operating professionally as the updated functionality is easy to use and relatively intuitive.

Cons
Autopilot
- Limited Design Customization: If you're an experienced marketer and are used to the unlimited customization capabilities of larger platforms (or coding your own templates), you might find Autopilot's options to be limiting. It's great for a beginner user who shouldn't be encumbered with those options, but I could see if being frustrating for others.

- Wholesale block of some valid domains - without notice, suddenly can't send emails to some long-time customers.
- Need the ability to create custom objects.
- Missing the ability to search drilldown fields.
- Can't delete search reports that were created by deactivated accounts.

We have invested a lot into Infusionsoft and are using it to automate our processes and marketing. Changing CRMs would have a HUGE cost for us and based on our evaluations, the grass isn't greener elsewhere. Infusiosoft fits most of our needs and is slowly getting better each year. Their support is great and we will continue to use them until something much better comes around or our company outgrows a small business CRM.

You do need to spend some time on-boarding and implementing the software in order to have full functionality. We were lucky - we had colleagues at the university with experience with Keap and then hired an intern familiar with the software to get us set up and ready to use it. We've had some functionality issues with it along the way and that has frustrated myself and the other uses in our department.

OMG, it's all in one and that compromises everything, fundamentally. If you want a race car, invest in a race car. If you want a dune buggy, get that. If you want a boat that floats, go for it.

When you first sign up for the software, they hold your hand....but only for about 2 hours. Once your support is up you are on your own. It's not easy to figure out and there isn't much documentation, video tutorials, and help for how to use it because they want you to pay them for more one-to-one time with their consultants. I dislike this business model in this day and age, it doesn't lend itself to good internet etiquette. I can't decide what is worse...the kind of support where you have to pay for everything or the kind of support that has too many overseas customer service reps where you have a language barrier to overcome when you have one simple question that folks can't seem to understand

This training is taught often to the lowest common denominator so as to help as many customers of theirs as possible. We do the training and coaching and implementations for our clients. But clients who I know who have been to their training get trained well. The gap that can exist lies in you doing your part and really investing in using and building out the application. The training and education is only as good as your willingness to apply it.

Don't let the fear of implementing a new software solution keep you from unleashing the power of automation that Infusionsoft provides. With the right implementation partner, the process can not only be smooth and painless, it can actually help you get a better understanding for how your current communication process can be improved upon.

Okta and Azure AD seem to work better for administering our email tenant and users for me comparatively. They just seem easier to use and I was already experienced with both.

We've used Salesforce and Next Level Suite. Salesforce was too robust for our organization and too difficult to implement. Next Level Suite was fantastic for us when we were just getting started, but it isn't or wasn't ideal for our business as we grew to expand how we operate, generate leads, and manage our customer database.

Pricing is user and email and function based. Way too many pay walls and not native function for scaling. It's scaleable with NASA level marketing automation talent you must pay to engage. Otherwise, it gets expensive quickly for scaling to a true small business, which is what they target. Over 25 users and you're screwed. Look at the competition first, evaluate what you really need for your business and start there. Keep it simple, build your cash flow and confidence in the people you hired to make this work and then scale. Don't get sucked into the dream that this thing will help you sell your book to millions and you get famous while hanging on your boat or whatever. Building a small business is hard enough. Adding software often adds complexity in order to successfully scale.
