HireVue is a video, mobile and social recruiting platform.
HireVue was very well suited for my interviewing process with my current company for both my initial hire and my lateral move within the organization. It was very convenient given where I am geographically located to interview with our corporate office in Rhode Island. It provided the convenience of interviewing remotely for the opening posted.
Simplicity - HR specialists and recruiters using the software will be able to use data and analytics to track the progress of their prospective candidates.

Flexibility - The ability to update and change the system ensures that this platform will continue to serve organizations today as well as tomorrow. As the last 24 months have shown, organizations must adapt to the changing workforce.
It allows candidates to be recorded answering some initial interview questions and eliminates the need for recruiters or hiring manager to get on the phone or meet with them live.
It stores the video interviews in a manner that is easy to do, use, and recover.
It's also great to be able to record these interviews and then they can be shared with others on the team as needed for panel interview purposes, etc.
We have experienced some technical issues with the Live Interview feature. A lot of time it is because the user's computer settings are not set up correctly.
They are working on adding a feature that will allow you to edit the email templates. Hoping for this to be released soon as it is nice to have different communications sent out for different cites around the globe.
Customized CodeVues can be difficult to set up. Recommend having a technical employee help out with this. Would like to see more CodeVue questions added to the Question Library.
The system is extremely innovative and easy to use, it permits a great deal of bolt-ins during a standard format so the system will be personalized to the company’s wants and of those who will be exploiting the system.
Gray Peak doesn't even compare to HireVue. Where I think Gray Peak is a 2 or 3 out of 10, I am absolutely convinced that HireVue is a 10! Yes there are probably some tweaks for HireVue but this product is truly amazing. It impresses me each day with the volume that we are able to put through and how it is a complete convenience for ALL parties involved in the process
The hiring workflows, forms, and portals are all easily customizable to work for our organization. They have created efficiencies allowing for our staff to focus on other tasks.
The modernization of the hiring process has generated renewed interest in our organization's brand.
Once understood, the platform is simple to use and easy to design. The continual updates and improvements allow our organization to evolve and adapt to an ever-changing workforce.
Time to fill has been reduced/ shortened since we are able to screen more candidates quicker.
Time to schedule has been shortened as candidates are able to self-schedule their own interviews with a hiring manager; no more chasing people through phone calls to coordinate multiple schedules.
Candidate reach has been greatly enhanced - we can reach more candidates than we ever could with traditional phone screening.
