The solution is innovative aggregating all the corporate communication features that can be used from anywhere and from any device. Avaya Cloud Office is very good because it has cloud management and is easy to use, manage and install. It provides economy and flexibility giving the opportunity to produce from anywhere in times of pandemic. It is something I would recommend and would recommend yes to other colleagues from other companies of any size.

MiVoice Office Application Suite

Mitel is useful for larger organizations where instant messaging can be used throughout departments and in-house phones need to be set to cell phones. I wouldn't say that it's not appropriate for smaller organizations, but they might not need all of the robust features that Mitel offers. The user experience is extremely intuitive and organizations of any scale will be able to easily navigate it.

  • Company's promise of providing Gold Standard of Cloud Five9 availability.
  • Very responsive customer support and support directly from Avaya and not Ring Central.
  • Great Nvidia AI partnership has helped in reducing background noise on meeting calls, has improved backgrounds used in a meeting call, and also the claimed feature of non responsive participant's blurring works okay.
  • One umbrella solution for all the needs of a small customer like voice, video, chat, etc.

  • The support for setting up the system and knowing how to use it is average to poor
  • Trouble shooting things that aren't working properly is difficult
  • Support for being a portal administrator is average to poor
  • There is a 1-2 second gap between when a call is received and you can hear the caller. No one seems to be able to explain why that occurs and whether it can be fixed.

Indeed yes there was an outage and we loved the way the support personnel engaged with us right from the start to finish. They were highly skilled and wise and were able to pinpoint the issue and explain the root cause and were able to fix it at our end. It was a great experience.

Great technical support. My only recommendation would be to have staffed support after hours. They have an after hours answering service and while the technicians always called back it would be good to reach support immediately 24/7. Technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful as is their sales staff. They also have great training to take.

In retrospect, Mitel was not the right solution for us but it has sufficed while we look for a replacement that integrates with our CRM. Skype for Business was being phased out, we were currently using RingCentral, and we anticipated the conversion back to ShoreTel (we had a hosted environment in the past) would be similar to our previous experience with the system. The Cloud-based software and technology, however, did not meet up to the hosted environments capabilities, at least when it came to call-management

  • The software, to date, has seen us collaborate and complete assignments from different locations- it has seen our organization continue with its activities even after individuals were advised to work from home due to COVID 19 pandemic.
  • The software helped us with our call system. It offers quality calls, allowing my team members to communicate quickly and share ideas.
  • One negative impact we have with the software is disconnecting calls automatically. It is agitating to be cut off when in the middle of a conversation.
