I would mark Axosoft on seven as a whole as the process it has is helping and working well for our department, and we are managing the software releases with it without any significant issues. Work processes and email tagging is working as expected, and teams are being updated with the results and findings accordingly, so none of the sprints are ending in the dustbin.

The best use that we could give to this consulting tool would be the intention of streamlining and maximizing the workflow; [BigTime Software] allowing us to perform tasks simultaneously [and increases] the profitability of the service.

I can't imagine a scenario where someone could misuse this tool.

  • Invoice Style and detail..Bigtime allows the user the ability to choose more of what you need to appear on your invoice with its window options.
  • Phase/Percentage Billing; ease of adding additional phases to a project mid-project; clearly identifying Retainers
  • Support Team- In particular Melissa D and Lina Z...Par Excellent on the Teams
  • WHIP/Reports/Review of Invoices just make the entire billing process a BREEZE has cut my time frame in half, a Incredible help in this Season of Remote Work Environment that we are adapting to.

  • Timing Out - when editing a story or bug, occasionally Axosoft will time out and all changes will be lost
  • Viewing past sprints can be hard to locate
  • Multiple users within a Story - Axosoft could do a better job managing multiple users on the same story
  • User Interface isn't entirely user friendly and looks a bit outdated

  • I am having trouble figuring out how to drop time from invoice tracking (i.e.: billed as a lump sum, so I no longer want to see this time as a potential invoice that needs to be drafted).
  • We still use QuickBooks and I have trouble uploading Invoices there.
  • Invoice payment is difficult to navigate.

Once you get the hang of Axosoft, I think it's easy to use however... getting the hang of it takes quite a bit of time. Additionally, once Axosoft makes an update, it can be difficult to find your bearings again. Like I said, once you know how to use the product, I think it's easy but it takes a bit to become comfortable and confident with Axosoft

Mostly the admins work on the issues, but most of the users face such issues and errors which get fixed after a login/logout, but this causes a change in the faith for the product in a user's mind. Overall the product can be marked at a good level of usage as our teams are making additions to it and getting the required work out of it.

I actually like JIRA better, to me the UI is a lot cleaner. Easier to use, and search tickets.

BigTime Software

While they have similar capabilities, our main reason for switching to BigTime Software was that Harvest could not reconcile expenses and labor hours into one budget line item, which threw off entire project budgets. In this regard, BigTime Software is more accurate and a much more powerful tool. While it's not as intuitive or aesthetically appealing, BigTime Software is a much better fit for our business.

  • Before BigTime, we were using Excel to track everything, creating invoices, and run reports. Getting on BigTime has saved us tons of time and effort which equates to dollars saved on labor.
  • From a legal standpoint, BigTime has allowed us to be organized and prepared in the event we would need to present financial details to anyone.
